Ravaged by fires, much of Oregon now faces flooding

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN) — Officials are sounding a new alarm as torched

land across Oregon is now primed for a different kind of disaster: flash floods.

Heavy rain was expected to start falling Thursday night, which could trigger flash

floods and dangerous debris flows up and down the entire Cascades. Landslide

and flash flood warnings aren’t uncommon during winter months but they can be

especially problematic for areas burned by wildfires.

‘Shoot the narcos,’ declares mayor of Hermosillo, Sonora

Mayor Célida López of Hermosillo, Sonora, believes that drug traffickers should be shot.

López made the statement Wednesday during her second annual report on the state of

the city, in which she offered that those who sell drugs to minors are traitors to their country.

“Drug trafficking should not be confronted with [a show of] weapons,” she said, “drug

traffickers should be shot in this country, as happens in other countries of the world.”

Is Bill Barr Trump’s Most Dangerous Sidekick?

Yes, the lawless Christian fundamentalist was in fully unmasked form last night.

He accused Black Lives Matter of using the victims of police brutality as “props”

to help push a “much broader political agenda.” He didn’t mention what that

agenda might be, nor did he explain why there are so many dead people lying

around backstage apparently waiting to be included in next week’s performance.

But I suppose part of white privilege is never having to explain why you think

Black people do things you have no evidence of their doing.

Barr also said, “All this nonsense about how something is dictated by science

is nonsense”—which sounds like what every inquisitor in history has said when

confronted with facts they’re unwilling to understand.

The Soros Cover-Up

It seems there is suddenly a movement in media to silence anyone who speaks out

against George Soros—and, specifically, his funding of radical prosecutors seeking

to change the criminal justice system by simply ignoring certain crimes. This happened

to me personally this week while I was being interviewed on Fox’s Outnumbered.

When I brought up Soros’s plan to get pro-criminal, anti-police prosecutors elected

across the country, two of the show’s participants interrupted me and forcefully

asserted that Soros was not involved. Host Harris Faulkner, it seemed, was stunned

by the interruptions, and did her part to move the show forward after some awkward

silence. The next day, she addressed the strange moment during the show and condemned

censorship.
