In a nutshell, the empowered talking heads and yesmen got caught with their hands in the cookie jar elbow deep with complete contempt for families, freedom of religion and way of life, and whether or not they were aware of what they were actually doing is irrelevant and they are totally complicit and they don't know what to do or how to get out of it so they just keep digging deeper.
