In 1977 the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights published a report co-authored by RBG. The report gave recommendations to make the law free of "sex discrimination".
One recommendation was to eliminate the phrase ''carnal knowledge of any female, not his wife who has not
attained the age of sixteen years'' from 18 U.S.C. 2032 to describe an offense, and replace it with a federal, sex-neutral
definition of the offense patterned after S. 1400 1633 which reads: A person is guilty of an offense if he engages in a sexual act with another person, not his spouse, and…(3) the other person is, in fact, less than 12 years old.
The implication of gender (female) was removed and replace with something moar neutral (person). This is the pedo communist's ammunition for claiming RBG's motives are to remove "sexual discrimination" from the law. Just don't worry about the age of the "person" changing to establish whether or not a crime was committed.
This isn't even anything new. Recently Gov. Newsom of Commiefornia amended a law to reduce the sentence for an adult who engages in "consensual" sex with a "same sex" partner between the ages of 14 and 18. Once again using social justice and equality for alphabet people as a smoke screen for enabling the abuse of children.
