Yes, indeed. But take God out of the Constitution and with it goes the acknowledgement of Creator given, inalienable rights.
That's why Dems are always so anxious to delete God from any institution.
Ultimately, it's a power grab. To take back from the Constitution Creator-derived rights so that they can become goverenment awarded rights, subject to the whims and fancies of the prevailing government.
It's all about power.
