Instead of giving meds to make someone appear lucid, what if they are given meds to gradually appear crazy after lengthy interviews, etc. to get out of testifying in future ? Same result.
Pain meds can be time-release. He could be given something IV early enough to not have to wear a bandage later, then given a pill before going onstage. He is fairly clear at first, but the decline ramps up. With dementia, it’s on and off … and random. Not clear, then ramp up to batshit crazy.
