THIS VIDEO IS NOT THAT CRAZY. I worked as a maintenance crew aboard the ss discovery. We where collecting ice samples in the artic we spend 6 month there we were supposed to be there almost a year I was part of the maint crew. we abandoned the mission due to weird lights under the sea and in the air the light will shine bright and move at super sonic speeds all of our machine and tools will not work properly when the light shines and moved about. we got massive head aches and some of us vomited for days after. part of our crew member went along with some scientist to the main land and also reported light and mysterious sound coming from cave in the artic they also got sick a vomited for days after when we came back to the us we repoted this to the authorities and they told us we get 100s of claims like this and lots of missing people repots they said we can not do anything about this and threatened us not to say a word of what had happened there NOT TO GO TO THE PRESS THEY TOOK ALL OF OUR VIDEOS CAMARAS. next year my boss called me and told me that if I want it to go there again for a second expedition double the pay 250,000 in 8 month I said hell no what ever is there needs to be left alone I will not I mean never ever return to the artic. Now I work as a maint crew in a Disney cruise ship belive me or not I know what I saw and no one will ever change my mind

Lukashenko, who has been in power since 1994 and will now begin his sixth term, claimed a landslide victory with the opposition accusing him of massive vote-rigging.

But Belarus, an ex-Soviet nation of 9.5 million, is facing the prospect of US and European Union sanctions over the disputed election after it was followed by a crackdown by Lukashenko's security forces against opposition protests demanding his resignation.

United Nations human rights investigator Anais Marin said last week that more than 10,000 people had been 'abusively arrested' since the election with more than 500 reports of torture and thousands 'savagely beaten'.

Belarus authorities have previously said the police are humane and professional but have declined to comment on specific allegations of abuses.

An opposition politician, Pavel Latushko, said the swearing-in was like a secret 'thieves' meeting'.

'Where are the jubilant citizens? Where is the diplomatic corps?' he posted on social media.

'It is obvious that Alexander Lukashenko is exclusively the president of the OMON (riot police) and a handful of lying officials.'

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius said on Twitter: 'Such a farce. Forget elections… His illegitimacy is a fact with all the consequences that this entails'.

Belarus is crucial to Russia as a buffer state against NATO and a conduit for Russian exports of oil and gas to Moscow.

At a summit last week, Vladimir Putin granted Lukashenko a $1.5billion loan, and the two countries are holding 'Slavic Brotherhood' defence exercises in Belarus.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the swearing-in was 'absolutely the sovereign decision of the Belarusian leadership'.

Asked if Putin was invited, he said it looked as though the presence of foreign leaders had not been envisaged.

It has come to our attention that an employee of a Florida Corporation based out of Orlando has been filing requests for public records with DuPage Township, mainly related to Trustee Alyssia Benford's communications.

 

We asked JHT's President and COO, Carla Holoman, to comment on their employee using a corporate email account for this purpose, and Holoman's response was: "JHT Incorporated has no comment nor does the company have any interest in DuPage Township politics."

Consider this a public service announcement for our readers in the

 

Village of Bolingbrook and DuPage Township:

 

Bonnie Kurowski, (click the link for a nice pic)(also read American Consequences) a former and failed Bolingbrook Mayoral Candidate, has filed several FOIA requests using the Corporate email account of bkurowski@jht.com and includes within the body of the email her official job title, contact information to JHT, Inc., and their "JHT CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE." These emails were sent during normal business hours.

 

This initially gave us the appearance that JHT, Inc. is condoning, or permitting this activity using its corporate identity - which we now know is not the case.

 

FOIA requests in themselves are never problematic, however, Bonnie Kurowski also started a Facebook Group page in which she has been "writing" things about certain elected officials of DuPage Township, and it gives the appearance, through the timing, of attempting to influence the upcoming Spring 2021 Village and Township Elections - which is also not particularly problematic, especially since we covered nearly all of her "breaking news" several years ago as can be found on our website.

 

The Group claims to be a "hard hitting news source" but we have never found credible news sources using almost exclusively "anonymous" sources. The writings are not particularly well thought out pieces, mostly stating they are from "anonymous sources" - which are almost the same as no sources, or made-up sources.

 

Incidentally, as I was writing this article, an FBI Media Alert arrived in my inbox, the title is: "FOREIGN ACTORS AND CYBERCRIMINALS LIKELY TO SPREAD DISINFORMATION REGARDING 2020 ELECTION RESULTS" and it talks about the following:

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan's Air Force on Tuesday (Sept. 22) displayed its new Wan Chien (萬劍, Ten Thousand Swords) air-to-ground cruise missiles at an offshore military base, along with its Indigenous Defense Fighters (IDF) and other weaponry.

 

During President Tsai Ing-wen's (蔡英文) visit on Tuesday to the Magong Air Force base in Taiwan's island county of Penghu, the military offered a rare glimpse of the locally developed Wan Chien missiles, which only entered service in 2018. Developed by the National Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST), the weapons are carried exclusively by the IDF jets and can be fired at targets about 200 kilometers away.

America's strategic ambiguity on Taiwan may no longer keep the peace amid rising speculation of a Chinese invasion

The Chinese are buying American soybeans, and even if their agricultural imports have not reached Phase One levels, they are driving soybean prices higher. So far, so good. The question is: Will they continue to buy in the years ahead?

 

The answer will depend, in part, on the overall state of US-China relations. In a previous post, I wrung my hands about a possible event that could make today’s bad bilateral relations a lot worse – a Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

 

Since then, a noted foreign policy expert has voiced similar fears. Citing China’s increasingly aggressive behavior, Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations, warned in an article in Foreign Affairs that “China’s aim to gain control of Taiwan, through force if necessary, needs to be taken seriously.”

 

To counter that, Haass and co-author David Sacks propose a measure that some will deem radical. They advocate undoing a Taiwan policy that administrations of both parties have followed for 41 years.

 

Under this policy, consistent with the Taiwan Relations Act of 1979 and dubbed “strategic ambiguity,” the US refuses to say whether it would come to Taiwan’s defense in the event of an attack from China. As a US State Department official once put it to a group of Chinese officials, “We don’t know, and you don’t know.”

 

In other words, if the Chinese try to forcibly “reunify” with Taiwan, they might end up at war with America – or they might not. For four decades, this wasn’t a chance they were willing to take. The US was too strong militarily and China was too focused on building a robust economy.

 

Strategic ambiguity deterred China and kept the peace.

QAnon Is Madness. But Believing In It Can Be Rational.

In the United States today, there are many voters who sympathize with Joe Biden’s positions on tax policy, Social Security, and reproductive choice — but just can’t abide the Democratic nominee’s plan to abduct small children, traffic them to Hollywood, and then let liberal pedophiles abuse and ritually murder the little ones before oxidizing their adrenaline into psychedelic drugs.

 

Of course, Biden has no such proposal (Uncle Joe won’t make peace with legal weed, let alone child-harvested “adrenochrome”). But in the world conjured by more than 1,000 Facebook groups that collectively claim millions of members, the Democratic nominee is staunchly pro-Satanism. The Americans who frequent these forums unironically are a deeply deluded sort. And yet their decision to embrace a hallucinatory worldview is, in many cases, a rational act (according to my own unorthodox theories, anyway).

 

Conceived in 2017, the QAnon conspiracy theory — which posits that Donald Trump is locked in a secret battle with a cabal of progressive pedophiles — has exploded in popularity amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Trapped at home as an invisible, inscrutable menace shuttered the world as they’d known it, denizens of various apolitical online communities became newly receptive to the gospel of “Q.” Others contracted Q-adjacent paranoias. Speaking with voters in Wisconsin this month, Time reporter Charlotte Alter heard conspiracy theories from about 20 percent of her interview subjects. Many of these Wisconsinites were not familiar with QAnon but subscribed to its basic tenets. Tina Arthur, a small-business owner, told Alter that she was not a follower of QAnon but did believe that the Democrats were in league with a cabal of blood-drinking child rapists and that “if Biden wins, the world is over, basically … I would probably take my children and sit in the garage and turn my car on, and it would be over.”

 

The worldview that gave rise to this contemplation of filicide has become alarmingly prevalent within the GOP. Next year, a QAnon proponent named Marjorie Taylor will almost certainly take a seat in Congress, after winning a Republican primary in a deep-red Georgia district last month. Trump has himself praised QAnon supporters, and one recent poll found a third of GOP voters saying the theory was “mostly true.”

 

The debate over how to combat this growing craze for tinfoil hats has been focused on the supply side of the problem. Which makes sense. Although the American people have always had an affinity for conspiracism, they did not always get their news from social-media platforms that outsource editorial judgement to algorithms, or a cable network that comports itself as an organ of state propaganda. But I think that the burgeoning demand for conspiracism also merits contemplation. It would be a failure of both empathy and analysis to attribute the far right’s psychedelic paranoia to sheer ignorance or madness. To the contrary, from the standpoint of an individual QAnon adherent or die-hard Trump supporter, the adoption of delusional political beliefs can be quite rational.

 

This may be easier to see in the latter case. The fact that ordinary conservatives have embraced conspiratorial ideas about the “Fake News Media” and “Deep State” — so as to protect their mythic vision of Trump from information that contradicts it — has had adverse consequences for many in their coalition. The president’s environmental deregulation has worsened air quality in many heavily Republican areas. His careless pandemic management has likely increased the number of Americans, conservative and otherwise, who’ve perished from COVID-19. But for most conservatives — as individuals — learning and accepting the truth about Trump would result in many social harms and no substantive benefit. The chance of any single voter’s ballot deciding an election is minuscule. Adopting a worldview antithetical to that of one’s family, church, and community, however, is bound to either produce profound loneliness and internal strife (if you keep your heresies to yourself) or social stigma and familial conflict (if you make your views known). Happily, evolution has equipped human beings with an array of cognitive biases that help us rationalize our in-group’s presumptions and look past information that contradicts those ideas. Relatively few conservatives will ever need to consciously decide to prioritize in-group harmony over critical thought. Were they faced with such a dilemma, however, there would be some rationality in choosing to believe in the irrational.

I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In late 2013 and into 2014, mass protests erupted in Kyiv, Ukraine, demanding

integration into western economies and an end to systemic corruption that had plagued the

country. At least 82 people were killed during the protests, which culminated on Feb. 21 when

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych abdicated by fleeing the country. Less than two months

later, over the span of only 28 days, significant events involving the Bidens unfolded.

On April 16, 2014, Vice President Biden met with his son’s business partner, Devon

Archer, at the White House. Five days later, Vice President Biden visited Ukraine, and he soon

after was described in the press as the “public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.”

The day after his visit, on April 22, Archer joined the board of Burisma. Six days later, on April

28, British officials seized $23 million from the London bank accounts of Burisma’s owner,

Mykola Zlochevsky. Fourteen days later, on May 12, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma,

and over the course of the next several years, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were paid

millions of dollars from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch for their participation on the board.

The 2014 protests in Kyiv came to be known as the Revolution of Dignity — a revolution

against corruption in Ukraine. Following that revolution, Ukrainian political figures were

desperate for U.S. support. Zlochevsky would have made sure relevant Ukrainian officials were

well aware of Hunter’s appointment to Burisma’s board as leverage. Hunter Biden’s position on

the board created an immediate potential conflict of interest that would prove to be problematic

for both U.S. and Ukrainian officials and would affect the implementation of Ukraine policy.

The Chairmen’s investigation into potential conflicts of interest began in August 2019,

with Chairman Grassley’s letter to the Department of Treasury regarding potential conflicts of

interest with respect to Obama administration policy relating to the Henniges transaction.1

During the Obama administration, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States

(CFIUS) approved a transaction that gave control over Henniges, an American maker of antivibration technologies with military applications, to a Chinese government-owned aviation

company and a China-based investment firm with established ties to the Chinese government.

One of the companies involved in the Henniges transaction was a billion-dollar private

investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR). BHR was formed in November 2013 by a

merger between the Chinese-government-linked firm Bohai Capital and a company named

Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont Seneca was formed in 2009 by Hunter Biden, the son of

then-Vice President Joe Biden, by Chris Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John

Kerry, and others.2

Check state statutes/deadlines to register as a candidate.

 

Read all the fine print on complying w/candidate reporting to your state, campaign contribution restrictions, etc.

 

Get a friend who can be your treasurer. Make sure this person is responsible, and will read the fine print on reporting.

 

Get a friend who will be your campaign manager (hopefully brighter than some of the ones I've had to deal with)

 

Start going to public meetings to see in general how things are done. Watch any public hearings you can.

 

Start going to Meet & Greets when politicians come to town to get a feel for that process.

 

Develop issues talking points.

 

Ask people what they would like to see changed. Find out if it can be accomplished realisticly…. and how.

 

(Dems are always screaming about Roe v Wade, and supreme court picks. Is that really where it is going to be changed? Not if you paid attention to the phrase "long standing precedent".)

 

Before you run, start talking to people and ask what would they change. What is not working (besides a lot…)

 

Head over to both local party offices and start meeting their people. Gather campaign intel/tactics. If I wanted to run for office…

 

You're going to have to raise money. You need to do meet and greets w/ the public. Independents don't have the structure to get the word out to locals to come meet a candidate that Dems and GOP have. You have to travel all over the area constantly meeting people, promoting yourself.

 

A small local election can cost up to $10,000 just for a primary.

 

Or…….. you could suck it up, and help people some of us change the GOP from within. Leverage off the existing political structure to get elected.

 

People in local GOP offices are just as tired of the b.s. Most of the ones I know in my state are totally on board w/ Q. Change comes from within. Think INFILTRATION.

Just gotta get out and start talking to people. The average citizen will probably be more receptive to a political outsider, especially if they have awoken a bit to the traitorous 2-party system. Here in my state, there is an Independent candidate that's gaining traction for Gov because the main ticket is basically 2 Dems. He's been showing up to rallies, protests against the Governor, just making his name heard, going to super small town events. Seeing more and more signs for him each day. Dems have reduced number of booths due to COVID b.s. and in some areas the number of convenience centers for voting. This will jam up long lines for voting in person. Dems will close polls right on time, make it hard for long lines of in person to get in.

 

Vote in person the Thr-Fri-Sat-Mon-Election Day. If you get inside to check-in - you'll have to sign an affidavit you did not and will not use that absentee ballot in your back pocket. Don't use it - voting twice is illegal.

 

If it winds up being impossible to get inside due to long lines... you have your absentee ballot. Fill it out, and drop it off IN PERSON at the designated ballot drop box at the county clerk's office, which bypasses the USPS delays. Preferably no later than Monday 11/1. Monday drops are logged on a separate register. Call the clerk's office on Tuesday election day, and ask if your absentee ballot was received. (Don't drop at a precinct polling place or convenience center - even though authorized by statutes.)

 

If not, go in person to clerk's office. Ask again.

If you dropped your absentee ballot in the ballot box at the clerk's office and they don't have it on Monday - you have a dirty bad actor in the Clerk's office disappearing ballots. The drop box is supposed to be under a surveillance camera 24/7.

(WASHINGTON) — Experts who track extremist ideologies and movements as well as domestic terrorism in the U.S. say QAnon is a unique and unpredictable new strain of extremism in America’s far-right political landscape.

The conspiracy theory imagines that President Donald Trump is secretly battling a global network of evil elites, Democrats, celebrities and their “deep state” bureaucratic counterparts — a dizzying conspiratorial alliance of thousands of American citizens who, behind closed doors, are believed to be closeted Satan-worshipping pedophiles who traffic, abuse and sacrifice children, and their enablers.

Past and present far-right extremist movements in the U.S. are “much more anti-government in their perspective,” said Donald Haider-Markel, a University of Kansas political science professor who studies domestic extremism.

“What’s weird about today is that if they are anti-government like QAnon, it’s about a ‘deep state,’ this second government,” he said. “Typically, on the far right, they’re wildly opposed to a strong federal government. But this doesn’t look like that. This is, in fact, a defense of what they see as their government.”

Haider-Markel and other experts said QAnon’s penetration of mainstream American culture and politics is unprecedented in the modern political era for a far-right extremist conspiracy theory.

“The closest thing I could compare it to is [that] this is the way anti-Communism spread,” he said. “Certainly, many people wouldn’t call that extremism, but that brand developed its own extremism, whether it be the John Birch Society or the tactics of McCarthyism in the U.S. Senate. But that… all-or-nothing anti-Communism in the context of the Cold War really is the closest thing to compare this to.”

At the start of the Cold War in the 1950s, Wisconsin Sen. Joseph McCarthy and the John Birch Society were both at the forefront of a hunt for Soviet spies and Communist-sympathizers in America which verged on paranoia, a period scholars describe as the nation’s second “Red scare” of the 20th century.

Brian Friedberg, a senior researcher at Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Affairs, who studies the impact of political disinformation from alternative media and anonymous groups, agreed that QAnon is unique among far-right extremists.

“I jokingly call this authoritarian libertarianism — where there’s a libertarian streak of personal freedom and individuality that runs through these communities… exemplified by anonymous postings [and] the whole freedom of speech without consequences,” he said. “But they’re pining for this authoritarian figure who can do no wrong.”

“A lot of these people before [QAnon] used to be just racist libertarians,” Friedberg added.

‘Fighters for Trump’

Like other researchers who spoke with ABC News, Friedberg said he has observed a growing and emboldened militancy among some of QAnon’s followers as the phenomenon has spread and expanded throughout Trump’s first term — especially this year, as QAnon has invaded mainstream American culture and politics.

“One of the most disturbing things I noticed was QAnon folks marching with the Proud Boys,” he said, referring to a far-right white identity group that has clashed frequently with Black Lives Matter demonstrators across the nation this year. “That, to me, is the future.”

“Previously in the alt right era — [from] 2016 up until [the 2017] Charlottesville [neo-Nazi protests] — you had the Trumpian kids on [the website] 4chan, who were called Kekistan… who would march with the colors and symbols they have… their fake flag, their fake nation. They would march with alt-right groups and militia groups at various protests around the country. It was largely considered dumb, larky,” he said.

“They were made fun of by the right and the left. You know, ‘Go back to your mom’s basement,’ that kind of stuff,” Friedberg said. “But then [recently], I saw one guy in particular with one of these [QAnon slogan] shields [symbolically] painted green that had nails coming out of it.”

Last year, a declassified FBI field office internal memo declared conspiracy theory movements like QAnon potential domestic terror threats, and last month, the Combating Terror Center at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, published a research paper which asserts that QAnon “represents a militant and anti-establishment ideology [which] finds resonance with other far-right extremist movements.”

‘Some extremists may use violence’

The spread of QAnon parallels a dramatic increase in recent years in far-right domestic terror plots and attacks, according to a June analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) of nearly 900 domestic terrorism incidents and plots over the past 25 years.

The CSIS analysis concluded that right-wing extremists perpetrated two-thirds of the attacks and plots in the U.S. in 2019, and more than 90% between Jan. 1 and May 8, 2020.

The report — which, according to its lead author, will be updated in September to cover the summer months — suggests that Trump losing the election in November could trigger far-right violence.

“As U.S. Department of Justice documents have highlighted, some far-right extremists have referred to themselves as ‘Trumpenkriegers’ — or ‘fighters for Trump,'” it said. “If President Trump loses the election, some extremists may use violence because they believe — however incorrectly — that there was fraud or that the election of Democratic candidate Joe Biden will undermine their extremist objectives.”

Haider-Markel said that the CSIS analysis is consistent with decades of studies on the rise of far-right violence in modern America.

“General right-wing terrorism is responsible for more attacks in the United States since 9/11 than any other group, movement or ideology… whether you compare it to jihadis or the left wing,” he said, adding that the past two years represent “the biggest growth of extremist group activity since the 9/11 attacks.”

It’s the same conclusion QAnon experts have reached after looking at legions of QAnon Trump supporters and their actions.

“If Trump loses, there is a massive crisis within Q[Anon] when that happens,” said Fredrick Brennan, the creator of 8chan — the anonymous imageboard site where “Q drops” first appeared in 2017.

Brennan relinquished control of the site several years ago, disillusioned by the growing rhetorical violence and hate speech on the site’s board. He is now an active critic of QAnon, who tracks the spread of the movement. He contends that a loss for Trump in November could have significant ramifications for the QAnon movement.

“If Trump loses, I think that how a lot of people are going to view it is: the deep state has won. Trump has lost. Our god, essentially, has been crucified,” he said. Because, “Trump is — for many of them — a god, and they are going to punish Democrats on the other side with political violence. That’s what I see happening.”

‘Bottom up’

Like all forms of domestic extremism in the digital age, QAnon poses a raft of challenges to law enforcement and homeland security agencies.

“Here’s the big issue: QAnon is symptomatic of what is a very decentralized domestic extremist landscape in the U.S.,” said Seth Jones, the CSIS analysis’ lead author and a former director of the International Security and Defense Policy Center at RAND Corporation.

“It’s going to be very difficult for the U.S. government over the foreseeable future to get its hands on this, because it’s not like killing Osama bin Laden or Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” he said, referring to the former leader of al Qaeda and the former leader of the Islamic State, both whom were killed by U.S. forces.

“There’s no head to chop off,” he said. “This is a bottom-up, not a top-down movement.”

Both Jones and Haider-Markel agreed that the gun rights movements that took root in the 1990s has intensified both the nature and the visibility of the far-right extremist threat.

“In one form or another, [the] open carry [law] is legal in most states now, so that people can show up at events with firearms in many places,” Haider-Markel said.

A separate report that CSIS released in July reported that despite a 50% drop in terrorism globally between 2014 and 2019, U.S. domestic terrorism rose 141% during that period. Citing data from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), the July report concluded that the number of firearm background checks for gun purchases in the U.S. has spiked to its highest level ever in 2020, reaching nearly 4 million in June 2020.

One leading QAnon researcher said his greatest fear is that QAnon’s relentless momentum combined with a Trump reelection could normalize QAnon’s outrageous far-right extremist conspiracy theories.

Like some prominent QAnon critics who have faced severe harassment online, this researcher asked to be identified only by his Twitter handle, @dappergander, and his region, New England.

“With all these people running for Congress who say they believe in QAnon, my real fear is the moment when someone says, ‘Do you think we really could arrest all the Democrats? We already have a built-in base of support for that that’s terminally online,'” the researcher said.

“And I don’t think we’re going to get there… but even that conversation happening behind closed doors is really dangerous,” he said. “And if, God forbid, in 2022 even more QAnon people run for office to the point where it’s going to be like the Tea Party, and there’s now a QAnon caucus in Washington?”

At least 24 candidates who have “endorsed or given credence to the conspiracy theory or promoted QAnon content” — 22 Republicans and two independents — having secured a spot on the ballot in the 2020 congressional elections, according to the media watchdog Media Matters, although it’s unclear how many actually have a chance to win their elections. Last month, one candidate who pollsters say is almost certain to win her heavily GOP district in Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, appeared to rescind her previous support for QAnon, telling Fox News that “once I started finding misinformation, I decided that I would choose another path.”

Earlier this month, the former chief of intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security filed a whistleblower complaint alleging that the Trump administration sought to “censor or manipulate” intelligence for political purposes, including downplaying the threats of Russian meddling in the 2020 election, and the threat of violence from far-right extremism.

Former CIA analyst Edward Snowden has agreed to hand the US government over $5 million in earnings from his book and speaking fees, after his memoir, Permanent Record, violated a nondisclosure agreement he signed with the agency. The money will go into a trust.

A federal judge sided with the Justice Department, which sued the former contractor who leaked US intelligence secrets in 2013 which exposed US surveillance programs. The judge has yet to approve the forfeiture plan, according to the Washington Examiner.

 

Snowden made more than $4 million in book sales and a little over $1 million across 56 paid speaking engagements over the last year, according to court documents.

 

Still, Snowden's attorney, Lawrence Lustberg, said his 37-year-old client is considering an appeal of the decision, and no money will be paid to the U.S. government right away.

"This is not like he's going to fork over the money,” the attorney told CNN. “This gives them a judgment they were going to get anyways.” -Washington Examiner

In 2013, Snowden left his job at an NSA facility in Hawaii where he worked for contractor Booz Allen Hamilton - fleeing to Hong Kong where he subsequently disclosed hundreds of thousands of NSA documents. He was granted asylum by Russia and currently lives in Moscow, and was charged by the DOJ with violating the Espionage Act.

Last month, President Trump told reporters that he was going "to take a very good look at" pardoning Snowden, saying "There are many, many people — it seems to be a split decision that many people think that he should be somehow treated differently, and other people think he did very bad things."

We KNOW Taiwan had a nuke program because they admitted to it and agreed to terminate it. GLOBAL EMPOWERMENT MISSION BACK IN BUTTE COUNTY HELP BEAR FIRE VICTIMS

 

Berry Creek, Calif. -One humanitarian group is looking to help Bear Fire victims, two years after they helped Camp Fire survivors.

Michael Capponi is the President of Global Empowerment Mission. His non-profit is partnered with Bethenny Frankel’s BStrong organization, the company goes all over the world to help with disaster relief.

Capponi returned to Butte County this week to assess how he can help victims of the Bear Fire.

 

"We have a partnership with Bethenny Frankel's BStrong for gift cards. So usually the first thing we do is find families that have been affected by the fire and give them a little jump start cash through that,” said Capponi.

 

One of the days Capponi was here he spent time at a Distribution Center handing out gift cards.

The next day he went to Lakeside Market in Oroville where he handed out more gift cards to victims of the fire.

One victim, Rhonda Johnson lost her home in the Camp Fire, then lost her new home in the Bear Fire.

"It means a lot to get help, especially because our insurance isn't what we thought it would be," said Johnson.

John Butler is another Bear Fire victim who lost everything including his parents.

"It's greatly appreciated, I am actually surprised there are people like this. It really helps, especially these times and especially when you don't have anything, so you know I greatly appreciate it,” said Butler.

 

Capponi also met up with a Fire Captain who lost everything, including the volunteer station he worked at, all while evacuating people from their homes.

"We are trying to help the public when they get ready to move back in here. Every little bit helps, we are so thankful people are being so nice and so helpful, I don't even know how to say thank you, but thank you," said Captain Reed Rankin.

 

Capponi handed out ten thousand dollars in gift cards, but he’s not done helping.

"Here our next step is going to be to compile a lot of data, and then you know narrow in on what programs we can create to try and help people on a long term basis," said Capponi.

Capponi added they will be working with a community leader to help figure out how to distribute those funds.

 

They also have trucks heading out to help Bear Fire victims. They are sending out food aid kits for victims and they are also sending PPE.

Hanford contractors to pay nearly $58M settlement after whistleblowers allege massive fraud scheme

 

Hanford contractors involved in the long-running effort to build the site’s Waste Treatment Plant have agreed to pay a $57.75 million settlement to the U.S. Justice Department to resolve whistleblower claims of fraudulent overcharges that inflated the hours of labor and billed for work that was not actually performed.

 

The settlement announced Tuesday with Bechtel Corp., AECOM Energy & Construction, and an AECOM subsidary covers work undertaken to build the Waste Treatment Plant. This construction work has soaked up many billions of federal dollars to develop a complex able to treat and stabilize hazardous chemical and radioactive wastes for long-term storage.

 

Back in 2016, Bechtel and subcontractor URS agreed to pay $125 million to settle allegations of subpar work and accusations of using taxpayer dollars illegally to fund a multiyear lobbying campaign.

 

As part of the new settlement, the contractors must submit to an independent compliance review for the next three years. And in a statement released Tuesday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Washington’s Eastern District, the contractors came under harsh criticism.

 

“It is stunning that, for nearly a decade, Bechtel and AECOM chose to line their corporate pockets by diverting important taxpayer funds from this critically essential effort,” Joseph E. Harrington, first assistant attorney general for the Eastern District of Washington, said in the statement.

 

Teri L. Donaldson, the inspector general for the Department of Energy, said “Bechtel National Inc., AECOM Energy & Construction Inc. and (the AECOM subsidiary) Waste Treatment Completion Company LLC, engaged in a massive scheme to submit tens of millions of dollars of false claims to the U.S. Government for unallowable and unjustified costs over a period of years – a pattern of conduct that continued even after U.S. authorities notified the defendants that these costs were unallowable,” Donaldson said.

Michael Jean Francois Capponi (born April 5, 1972) is an American businessman.[1][2][3] He is best known for helping to develop Miami Beach's nightlife and his humanitarian work with his foundation, Global Empowerment Mission.[4][5]

Capponi was born in Belgium; he moved to Miami with his parents when he was six,[6] and grew up on Key Biscayne. His parents divorced.[6] He began working as a promoter for nightclubs when he was 15, organizing events and posting flyers, and while still in high school made $10,000 per month.[6]

In the 1980s, he promoted roving parties that attracted the attendance of the rich locals and celebrities. The events were held at a different location in South Beach every weekend to escape the scrutiny of police and regulatory authorities. Capponi also worked as a developer alongside Gregg Covin. Together, they used the parties to promote real estate projects in the area to celebrities and wealthy investors.[7] Capponi's contributions to South Beach's development continued into the 1990s.[8] With Covin, Armin Mattli, and Chad Oppenheim, Capponi in 2004 became one of the co-developers of Ten Museum Park, a 50-story, 200-unit building in downtown.[9]

 

In 2010, he formed Capponi Construction Group. His firm was responsible for the renovation of Terra Veritatis, a 16-bedroom estate spanning 2.5 acres (1.0 ha) of Miami Beach completed in 2013.[10] The Wall Street Journal called the $40 million project "the most expensive renovation in the Miami area."[11] Capponi and Gary Shear formed another company in 2013, Capponi Shear Construction, a general contracting firm.[12]

 

In 2014, Capponi joined the development team with Moses Bensusan of Costa Hollywood, an urban beachfront development, by architect Hamed Rodriguez.[13] The 500,000-square-foot resort consists of 307 fully furnished apartments.[14] Capponi with software engineer Gideon Kimbrell, co-founded InList, an app for nightlife and special event reservations.[15]

 

Humanitarian work[edit]

When Hurricane Charley hit Florida in August 2004, Capponi teamed up with the American Red Cross and organized relief efforts for the victims. He worked with local nightlife venues to raise money and provide support.[citation needed] The partnership continued in December 2004, with a fundraiser for the Thailand tsunami victims.[16]

 

In 2006, Capponi teamed up with Miami Rescue Mission to fortify and expand its annual Great Thanksgiving Day Banquet, which feeds over 2,500 homeless people in Miami. In 2012, Capponi announced the construction of a 78-bed men's shelter for Miami Rescue Mission.[17]

 

After the January 12, 2010 Haiti earthquake, Capponi organized a plane with a relief team consisting of Miami Beach firefighters and doctors.[18] In December 2010, Capponi started a project to revitalize Jacmel, a historical town in Haiti.[19][20] This initiative was to help stimulate a self-sustained tourism economy for Haiti.[20] In 2011, he founded the non-profit organization Haiti Empowerment Mission.[citation needed] In 2016, the foundation changed its name to Global Empowerment Mission.[21][better source needed] Capponi has held events for various charities. In 2012, Donna Karan hosted Capponi's 40th birthday benefit at Capitale for the Haitian city of Jacmel.[22] On October 5, 2016, the day after Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti, Capponi and the Global Empowerment Mission team were on the ground delivering aid and supplies.[4]

 

In response to Hurricane Maria in 2017, Capponi partnered with Bethenny Frankel, Will Smith and other celebrities to provide logistical aid in Puerto Rico to people affected by the hurricane. Global Empowerment Mission organized warehouse storage space, chartered flights, and transportation for food and material aid donated from elsewhere in the United States.[5]

Personal life[edit]

By the 1990s, Capponi had developed an $800-per-day heroin habit.[23] By 1995, he was homeless in New York City.[6] At his father's suggestion, Capponi entered a methadone program in Belgium; he fell into a coma soon after starting, and had to undergo surgery to remove a benign brain tumour. He then went through a detox program in Canada, before returning to Miami Beach.[6] In the 1990s, he was close friends with Chris Paciello, a former Cosa Nostra associate and South Beach nightclub owner, with whom he owned music production company C&P Music.[24] He credits Paciello with getting him off heroin by sending him to a detox center.[1][24]

 

On March 20, 2015, he was at the helm of his 25-foot Chris-Craft Corsair motorboat when he fainted, he reported;[25][26] The boat slammed head-on into a seawall.[25][27] The accident seriously injured Capponi and a female passenger.[25][26][27] Capponi suffered a broken nose, broken ribs, and a broken collarbone; his passenger suffered serious head injuries, was in a coma for three weeks, and lost much of her short-term memory.[26][27] The final report of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission on the accident stated that "neither victim was cited and that no alcohol or drugs were found in the couple's systems, aside from the medication given to them at the hospital.[28] Capponi's insurer claimed that he had failed to advise them of being convicted on a DUI charge in 2003 and hence had benefited from a lower premium. The insurer's case that they were not liable for damages was dismissed.[25]

I was busy so it just now hit me.

I had a super lucid vivid dream 2 years ago that showed me exactly that.

I'm starting to think it was prophetic.

And during that time there was martial law.

I saw myself in yellowstone park.

Dark.. No lights, except floating lights in the sky

Military everywhere

And people were frraked out to death.

 

If that truly happens.. It won't be a fun ride for america.
