In this inherently biased system, the redress available, if she gets any, will be too little too late. The State has a duty to provide "due process" before using force against a person. This is an act of terrorism against this woman, under the color of law. Civil rights lawsuits are expensive, and sadly, the biggest winners usually wind up being the lawyers on both sides.

I can't imagine any kind of justice available to this woman that would make up for this brutal wrong. Perhaps he can be sentenced to stand on a street corner, holding a sign that says, "I beat women" for about 40 hours.

Such entitled behavior from these fucking tyrants. Similar to the Hessians who were employed by the Brits to deal brutally the with rebel colonists.

We had cops before we had the qualified immunity doctrine. Anon doesn't ever propose all or nothing solutions. The process of enforcing civil rights laws is entirely too cumbersome on the innocent victim whose right's have been violated.

The state is willing to spend nearly limitless resources to defend the presumed privelege of a police officer to beat and electrocute people for not wearing a magical face diaper.

They're also willing to spend nearly limitless resources to prosecute a random man who beats and electrocutes his wife for not having his dinner ready on time.

See, the beating isn't the problem in our systemโ€ฆit's who is delivering it. That's the problem.
