I agree with Sundance, Barr is trying to the information out there trough the Flynn case instead of taking this head on. There will be no arrests before the election they are just going to release information in drips. Cowards.

They can fire Wray and also use that to highlight the news of the corruption in the FBI as described by William Barnett. The media will try to beat Trump up over firing Wray but will be forced to talk about the Barnett revelations.
It's a possibility that Wray is just acting and has been making the bad guys feel comfortable while they were being investigated. Making everyone think he was covering for them.
I would not rule that out, if Trump does not fire him soon I am going to lean towards that because he has every reason to axe him right now and Trump could benefit from it by linking it to the Barnett revelations.
if Wray is bad then this is a perfect move, if Trump keeps Wray then we probably know he is just acting
