Kanye West lands in Haiti and meets with the president as well as tennis star Naomi Osaka before traveling to visit a plant breeding center

Kanye West touched down at the Hugo Chávez International Airport in Haiti at around 10am on Friday morning

He was greeted by local women and taken to the diplomatic lounge

Tennis star Naomi Osaka was also in the airport and met with West

Haitian President Jovenel Moïse met with him there before they left the airport together by car

The president is accompanying the 43-year-old rapper to Tortuga Island and Labadee

The Haitian tourism board said West is there to visit a plant breeding center

It comes a week after Jamaicans demanded to know if he had broken coronavirus protocol during his visit there
