Back at the very end of December 2019 I came in contact with (close proximity and extended conversation) a couple who had just arrived from (Mainland China) to visit their child here in the US.
Within a week I came down with the worst flu I've ever had in my 50 some odd years.
It "tested" as one of the (2) strains they had tests for here in the US.
But there was NO Covid-19 awareness or testing in the USA yet.
Not sure if Sars-Cov-2 could show positive as one of those strains of flu.
It took me about 3wks to get over it.
And as I said, it was (The Worst) flu I've ever had.
But I got over it with NO lingering after affects.
And I have a pre-existing immune system disease.
Just sayin.
A lot of people may have had it and didn't know that's what it was.
Wouldn't even bring it up if it weren't for the FACT: I had direct, close contact with (Mainland Chinese) right before I got sick.
Brought it up seeing all the chatter about POTUS and concern.
We've seen the released survival statistics.
