The Q movement was designed as a massive psyop by the deep state, to effectively neuter patriots by giving them false hope and a tantalizing but unrealistic endgame by emphasizing the ultimate destruction and end of the deep state. My take on 10 possible benefits (maybe all):

1. Takes Trump (daily appearances) out of the public eye for now, allowing important revelations (FISA, Declass, Hunter corruption, CF, trafficking, Epstein, etc.) to get more suntlight.
