Trump will give first on-air interview on Fox News tonight since getting COVID-19
President Trump will give his first on-camera interview Friday night — one week after he announced his coronavirus diagnosis.
Trump will appear on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News at 8 p.m. ET and will undergo a medical evaluation and interview by Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox reported.
On Thursday, Dr. Sean Conley, who treats the president, said the commander in chief would likely be able to return to public engagements on Saturday after completing treatment for COVID-19.
Trump later said he wanted to hold a rally in Florida on Saturday and another one in Pennsylvania on Sunday, adding that he feels “so good.”
In an interview with Fox Business Network Thursday morning, the president said he beat covid and he’s “back.”
“I’m back because I am a perfect physical specimen and I’m extremely young. And so I’m lucky in that way,” he quipped to host Maria Bartiromo.

Top model who vanished from New York a year ago found 'confused' in Brazil slum
Eloisa Pinto Fontes graced the covers of Elle, Grazia and Glamour magazines and was part of a Dolce & Gabbana campaign before going missing from her life in New York a year ago
A model who disappeared from New York after appearing on the covers of Elle, Grazia and Glamour and taking part in a Dolce & Gabbana campaign, has been found in a a slum in Brazil.
Eloisa Pinto Fontes was found in a confused state, wandering through the slum "completely disorientated" by a local neighbourhood watch team.
They had been given a tip-off that the 26-year-old had been ambling around for two days and didn't appear to know what was going on.
According to local media, Ms Fontes was found in the Morro do Cantagalo favela in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday.
She was carrying a rucksack containing documents of her contracts with international modelling agencies and references from international photographers.
The model had disappeared from New York City a year ago, where she was living and working for well-known fashion brands.
She had also vanished from New York City earlier in 2019 and was found five days later, visibly disorientated, in a street in the city of White Plains, roughly 30 minutes by car from central Manhattan.
Her career, which had also taken her to Europe, dried up shortly after this incident.

Carnival Splendor fire leaves cruise passengers stranded
A cruise ship stranded offshore after a fire in the engine room cut its power supply is being towed slowly into a Mexican port, but it will not arrive until at least Wednesday night, the US coastguard said today.
None of the 3,299 passengers and 1,167 crew members on the Carnival Splendour was hurt when the fire broke out early on Monday 200 miles south of San Diego, California. The cruise operator, Carnival Cruise Lines, based in Miami, said the ship's air conditioning, hot water and telephone service were not working, but auxiliary power allowed toilets and cold running water to be restored by Monday night.
The coastguard, along with the US and Mexican navies, deployed aircraft and ships to help the stricken vessel, which was drifting about 55 miles off the coast of northern Baja.
Two Mexican seagoing tugboats, contracted out of the port of Ensenada, are expected to have returned with the ship, escorted by a coastguard cutter, by about 8pm tomorrow.
Passengers will be taken by bus to California, said Joyce Oliva, a Carnival spokeswoman. Once passengers are dropped off, the Splendor will be towed back to Long Beach, California – a journey that will take days, which is why the passengers will be dropped off in Mexico first.The US navy aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan was diverted to help the ship. Supplies, including bread, utensils, cups, milk, canned food and other items, will be flown to the Reagan, where helicopters will transfer them to the stricken cruise ship.
Guests will get refunds, reimbursement for transportation costs and a free future cruise of equal value, the cruise line said.
After the fire, passengers were first asked to move from their cabins to the ship's upper deck, but eventually allowed to go back to their rooms. Bottled water and cold food were being provided.
"We know this has been an extremely trying situation for our guests and we sincerely thank them for their patience," Carnival president and CEO Gerry Cahill said. "Conditions on board the ship are very challenging and we sincerely apologize for the discomfort and inconvenience our guests are currently enduring."
