Oh I'm sure there's plenty that bought into that shit and probably still believe it. (((They))) have been pushing that line for so long I believe because they fear us being allies. If we could be friends and allies then (((they))) wouldn't be able to get away with squat. We would be strong enough to protect all the Christians in the world, and since Christians tend to protect others as well we would all be better off. Not a Christian myself, but I appreciate all they've done for us religious minorities.
