What is "Day"? What is "Night"?
Now, what came before?
The "creation" of "Day & Night" was witnessed by our ancestors. What we have left are the fragments that were passed down the line, heavily influence by millennia worth of manipulation to leave most in complete lack of understanding outside of "faith" in obscure references, presented in metaphors, but treated as literals far too many.
One does not need only to believe to know that which is "God", nor does a man's interpretation change the Nature. If one's knowledge helps one recognize the glory of God not just in the past, but in the present day, as will it be til infinite, than such knowledge does not blind, but rather sets one free. Whether you label that as "good" or "evil" is irrelevant.
