A) this fits what is known about the FBI in other circumstances

B) this is also what I would expect a defense attorney to say at this point in the prosecution

Take this statement to the press "cum grano salum" … but also as a "head's up" reminder. Assume ANY militia is [at least] infiltrated and, just as likely, lead by agents provocateurs. Those agitating for the most extreme actions are likely doing so to entrap others into going from a minor infraction to a major crime. Minor infractions don't get them promotions and recognition … major crimes do.

They rationalize this escalation by telling themselves that if you would listen to them, you'd listen to someone with even crazier ides.

They don't seem inclined to prosecute Antifa / BLM (and there are probably others waiting in the wings). If they found and infiltrated this TINY group, surely they have been as least as successful with the larger groups.

But … no prosecutions.

Antifa and BLM have committed massive criminal deeds (not simply plots over the third beer) and yet they are not rounded up and prosecuted.

Let that reality serve as a warning.
