7 Charged In Florida Smuggling Ring That Funneled Thousands Of Flying Squirrels Into South Korea

Earlier this year, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officers made the first arrests in a series, which now totals seven suspects and 25 felony charges with additional arrests forthcoming. This group of suspects have been charged with Racketeering, Money Laundering, Scheming to Defraud and other organized criminal laws involving an elaborate organized enterprise to smuggle Florida’s wildlife to interstate and international buyers.

In January 2019, the FWC received a complaint from a concerned citizen about individuals illegally trapping flying squirrels in a rural area of Marion County. Flying squirrels, a protected wild animal in Florida, are sold internationally in the pet trade. Over the next 19 months, FWC Investigators pieced together an elaborate scheme in which flying squirrels were illegally captured by poachers in multiple counties throughout central Florida. The flying squirrels were then sold to a wildlife dealer in Bushnell and were laundered through the licensed business of this dealer, who claimed they were captive bred.

The poachers deployed as many as 10,000 squirrel traps throughout central Florida and as many as 3,600 flying squirrels were captured in less than three years. In three years, the wildlife dealer received as much as $213,800 in gross illegal proceeds. The FWC estimates the international retail value of the poached wildlife will exceed $1 million.

Investigators learned buyers from South Korea would travel to the United States and purchase the flying squirrels from the wildlife dealer in Bushnell. The animals were then driven in rental cars to Chicago, where the source of the animals was further concealed, and the animals were exported to Asia by an unwitting international wildlife exporter. As the operation expanded, couriers from the state of Georgia would take over the transports. One Georgia courier would fly to Orlando, rent a vehicle and drive the animals to Atlanta. A second hired courier would then drive the animals to Chicago. Each of the new participants would not know the identity of the other suspects.

As FWC Investigators monitored the operation, they learned the Florida suspects were dealing in multiple species of poached animals. Protected freshwater turtles and alligators were illegally taken and laundered through other seemingly legitimate licensed businesses. Documents were falsified concealing the true source of the wildlife.

“A State and Federal Task Force was created and was instrumental in accomplishing this operation,” said Maj. Grant Burton, FWC Investigation’s section leader.

World leaders are planning new lock downs to introduce “The World Debt Reset Program” which includes universal basic income and vaccination requirements

World leaders are preparing for a second and third wave of covid-19 cases and are fine-tuning their lock down strategies which will be implemented late in 2020 and into 2021. Their planning involves the development of a new world economy, one that introduces medical fascism as a permanent way of life.

A Canadian whistle blower came forward with the plans. The whistle-blower is on the Liberal Party of Canada’s Strategic Planning Committee, which operates under the direction of Canada’s Office of the Prime Minister (PMO).

The historic lock downs have engineered mass poverty and will continue to weaken people’s financial and food security, making them more vulnerable and eventually making them more desperate to accept the new world economy and its bodily requirements.

New world economy includes universal basic income and vaccination requirements

The new world economy includes the introduction of a digital currency, a universal basic income, vaccine requirements for travel, and “The World Debt Reset Program.” A continuous cycle of lock downs into 2021 will eventually lead to an international economic collapse. Governments worldwide will offer citizens an alluring way out by promising to eliminate all personal debts (mortgages, loans, credit cards, etc.)

In the U.S. this idea has already been implemented in 2020 through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) – a guaranteed loan program that forgives the debt if the borrower follows specific instructions. Under an impending economic collapse, any and all loans will be forgiven if the citizen agrees to participate in the “World Debt Reset Program, funded by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In order to get all debts forgiven, citizens will have to forfeit ownership of any and all private property, accept a universal basic income, and enroll in the covid-19 and covid-21 vaccination schedule.

As the rolling lock downs and economic sanctions commence, citizens will be permitted all their previous freedoms to travel and gather in stadiums and public venues as long as they provide an ID showing they were inoculated with all the mandated covid-19 and covid-21 vaccinations. In Canada, detainment camps are being installed in all provinces and territories to coerce people to comply with the new plans. The Canadian whistle-blower revealed that this vaccine ID will be referred to in Canada as Canada’s HealthPass.

ICE Arrests 54 In NYC Area, Targets Illegal Immigrants In Sanctuary Cities

NEW YORK—U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO) officers completed an immigration enforcement activity, which resulted in the arrest of 54 immigration violators throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area, and the neighboring counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Dutchess, Ulster and Westchester.

The nationwide, weeklong immigration enforcement activity, which concluded Oct. 9, focused on targeting and arresting individuals in sanctuary cities.

“ICE continues to protect communities by taking criminal aliens off the streets regardless of any locality’s cooperation policies – which is part of our congressionally mandated mission,” said ICE Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Tony H. Pham. “Officers and agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are sworn federal law enforcement officers who enforce U.S. immigration laws created by Congress to keep this country safe.”

Individuals arrested in New York were citizens and nationals from the following countries: China, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Grenada, Guyana, Honduras, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, Moldova, Mozambique, Pakistan, Panama, Peru and St. Lucia.

The New York arrests included charges filed for assault, sexual assault against a child, lewd and lascivious acts upon a child, rape and criminal possession of a loaded firearm. Other charges include criminal possession of stolen property, driving while intoxicated, robbery and grand larceny.

“Let us not gloss over the fact that the vast majority of the individuals arrested during this operation have criminal histories. It’s frightening that New York City politicians created laws that force local law enforcement agencies to release dangerous criminals back into the community despite the seriousness of their crimes,” said Thomas R. Decker, ICE ERO New York field office director.

Of the more than 50 individuals ERO officers arrested, more than 30 were released from local law enforcement custody with active ICE detainers; eight had outstanding removal orders; eight were previously removed or deported; five were criminally prosecuted; two were active gang members, and one was a foreign fugitive. All but two of the individuals arrested had criminal histories in the U.S.

All individuals arrested during the immigration enforcement activity will remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of their removal proceedings before an immigration judge.

ICE officially announced the results of the enforcement activity on Oct. 16, but one Manhattan resident’s arrest garnered considerable media coverage in New York prior to the announcement.

Bellingcat Goes To War With Ukrainian Opposition

The MH17 saga still continues, and it is unlikely that it will end anytime soon, regardless of what common sense and evidence is applied to it. Attempts to fit the facts to the narrative, and not establish a narrative based on factual data is evident.

In the most recent “episode” of the saga, Bellingcat, the “investigative website” went to “online” war with the opposition in Ukraine, since its representatives attempted to provide factual data that some of the evidence was very obviously doctored.

The SBU’s credibility was questioned since it released the faked recordings, and the Volodymyr Zelensky administration continues its questionable policy supporting radicals and employing the Poroshenko-like policy of sabotaging the political settlement of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

The party of opposition figure Anatoly Shariy is gaining popularity and is bringing to light the misconduct of the SBU and Zelensky, and Bellingcat, with its ties to MI6 immediately jumped to the rescue. And it is hardly a coincidence that Zelensky visited MI6 Headquarters for talks in his visit to the UK in October 2020.

On October 18th, Ukrainian politician Anatoly Shariy released a video which attempts to shed light on who is actually behind the Bellingcat “investigative website.”

Notably, in the video Shariy provides evidence that the tapes in which Igor Bezler was allegedly implicated in downing the MH-17 were actually doctored.

He confirmed that the Ukrainian security service – SBU edited the tapes, they were recorded during the hostilities in Eastern Ukraine, but the original tapes had Bezler and others speak about Ukrainian Su warplanes, and not about the MH-17.

This is a main point in Bellingcat’s investigation on the matter.

Over the last several years Anatoly Shariy has come a long way – from a journalist and blogger, turning into quite the influential politician in exile.

This is primarily thanks to his unrelenting efforts and everyday work that seem to never stop. He, almost single-handedly, took apart the narrative of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and is dismantling that of the current president – Volodymyr Zelensky, and he did all that online.

He is an expert in debunking media fakes, and this turned into a sort of activism, through his network of avid supporters.

Local elections are to take place in Ukraine on October 25th, and the Party of Shariy is to take part.

Back in the general elections of 2019, his party got 2.23%, which is approximately 330,000 votes, but didn’t pass the 5% threshold to enter Parliament, since then it appears that his popularity has risen.

The work he does is evidenced by the fact that his supporters, relatives and party members have repeatedly been subject to attacks from structures affiliated to the Azov Battalion and other volunteer battalions.

They are often subject to abuse or attacks by radical individuals who are quite openly being supported by the Ukrainian government. And still, Shariy’s party remains as a thorn in the side of the current Kiev government, shedding light on its questionable activities.

The majority of deaths during the influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 were not caused by the influenza virus acting alone. Instead, most victims succumbed to bacterial pneumonia following influenza virus infection. The pneumonia was caused when bacteria that normally inhabit the nose and throat invaded the lungs along a pathway created when the virus destroyed the cells that line the bronchial tubes and lungs.

Controversial shell-company ‘factories’ seek a role cleaning up UK’s reputation

It would ‘put the fox in charge of the henhouse’, anti-money-laundering experts warn, after FinCEN Files identified thousands of U.K. shell companies linked to suspicious transactions.

A trade group representing firms that specialize in corporate secrecy has been lobbying the British government to give its members a central role in efforts to counter the country’s reputation as a leading provider of front companies to organized crime groups, corrupt regimes and other criminals.

The proposal is being pushed by the United Kingdom’s Association of Company Registration Agents, which is urging government ministers to hire ACRA members to carry out identity verification checks on the owners of all firms listed at Companies House, the U.K.’s much-abused register of companies.

The plan was immediately met with skepticism by anti-money-laundering experts who noted that several members of ACRA specialized in setting up the kinds of anonymous U.K. companies — including “limited liability partnerships” and “limited partnerships” — that had long been popular with money launderers and had damaged the U.K.’s reputation internationally.

“It’s a bit like asking the fox to look after the chickens,“ said Graham Barrow, an expert who has advised several global banks on combating money laundering.

Helena Wood, of the Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies at U.K.-based think tank the Royal United Services Institute, has long argued that responsibility for all verification checks should be removed from company formation agencies and carried out independently. “We know loads of these [agencies] don’t check ID. Of course they’re not doing it. They’re absolute cowboys, some of them,” she said.

ACRA, which claims its members process close to a quarter of incorporations in the U.K. each year, is among a handful of organizations that have been appointed to an expert panel, advising the U.K. government on how best to implement Companies House reforms promised by ministers. Others on the panel include the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Institute of Directors, the Law Society, the National Economic Crime Centre and Transparency International.

19 'Ndrangheta (Calabria mafia)members arrested by Italian police in Trento

Italy’s Guardia Di Finanza arrested 19 alleged members of the ‘Ndrangheta organized crime group Friday in the Italian town of Trento. At the same time, in the ‘Ndrangheta’s native region of Calabria,a former police officer named Seby Vecchio was arrested for collaborating with the group, according to the Italian daily, ANSA.

Vecchio was arrested in an operation targeting the Serraino Cosca, one of the ‘Ndragheta’s most powerful clans, known as “ndrinas.” Vecchio, who in addition to his police career, was elected councillor for public education in Calabria, is accused of having collaborated with the Serraino Cosca clan in exchange for electoral support, ReggioTV reported.

In recent years, the ‘Ndrangheta has risen to become Italy's most powerful organized crime group, overtaking the Sicilian Cosa Nostra. The ‘Ndrangheta’s illicit activities, which include everything from the trafficking in narcotics, arms and humans to extortion and money laundering, are estimated to account for 3 percent of the Italian GDP.

Armenia Declares Large-Scale Counter-Attack In Southern Karabakh As Ilham Aliyev Makes Victorious Address To Nation

On October 20, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced new gains of his forces in the ongoing Azerbaijani-Armenian war in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. According to the Azerbaijani President, Armenian forces lost Dordchinar, Kurdlar, Yukhari Abdurrahmanli, Garghabazar, Ashaghi Veysalli, Yukhari Aybasanli villages in the Fuzuli district, Safarsha, Hasangaydi, Fughanli, Imambaghi, Dash Veysalli, Aghtapa, Yarahmadli villages in the Jabrayil district, Aghjakand, Mulkudara, Dashbashi, Gunashli, Vang villages in the Khojavand district, Havali, Zarnali, Mammadbayli, Hakari, Sharifan, Mughanli villages in the Zangilan district.

The town of Zangilan was also captured by Azerbaijani forces, Aliyev emphasized.

Previously, Aliyev announced the capturing of the towns of Jabrayil and Fuzuli, and the Hadrut settlement, as well as more than 50 villages.

Despite some formal diplomatic rhetoric, Azerbaijan shows no signs of its willingness to accept any real ceasefire with Armenian forces. Instead, it seeks to deliver a devastating blow to them and force them to surrender. The current Armenian counter-attack in the south will not likely change the strategic situation in the conflict as it’s the fact that Turkish-Azerbaijani bloc has more resources for the war. Nonetheless, it could help Armenian forces to gain additional time to set up additional defense lines deeper inside the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
