Democrat candidate Adam Christensen recently posted his Republican opponent’s home address on Twitter.

Christensen even included a map to her house.

This is the modern day left.

A Democratic congressional candidate posted the home address of his Republican rival on Twitter hours after she expressed concerns that Antifa activists were protesting at her home.

Florida Democrat Adam Christensen published a screenshot of a Google Maps web page that listed the home address of Republican congressional candidate Kat Cammack on Sunday. He wrote the tweet in response to an earlier Cammack tweet that said activists were protesting at a driveway located on her private property. Christensen posted the image—which featured a bird’s-eye view of Cammack’s home—to argue that the activists were actually protesting on a public street.

While Twitter has deleted Christensen’s tweet, according to the Cammack campaign, the Democrat has remained unapologetic on Twitter. When a Republican consultant reproached Christensen for the incident, the candidate responded, “You make me laugh, I really needed this today. THANK YOU.”

Biden Defector’s Emails Reveal Hunter’s Associates Viewed Direct ‘Pipeline’ to Administration as ‘Currency’

Hunter Biden’s business associates spoke candidly in emails about Hunter Biden’s role in the business, particularly as it related to foreign ventures, apparently viewing the Biden name as a form of “currency,” and bragging that they had a “direct…pipeline” to the Obama-Biden Administration.

In another email, Hunter Biden’s associates touted Hunter’s access to the White House and contrasted his willingness to “take on risk” with that of Chris Heinz—then-Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson and a close friend of Biden and Archer—who was uncomfortable with some of their potential partnerships.

In October 2013, Hunter Biden’s associates (including Devon Archer) discussed which one of their corporate vehicles would be appropriate for a new deal they were working on. Archer noted their need to use a “Rosemont Seneca SPV” (also known as a special purpose vehicle) because Rosemont Capital was too close to the Heinz family and because using an SPV could “bring Hunter into the mix.” Archer explained his desire “to leverage Hunter more” in a way that didn’t involve Heinz, who Archer called “much more risk averse.”

Another benefit of the Rosemont Seneca SPV was, per an October 5 email from Hunter Biden and Devon Archer’s business associate Bevan Cooney to Archer, it “would be good to put some honey in Hunter’s pocket.” That same day Archer responded: “Agreed. I also have more autonomy with that company as I own it with Hunter and he’s willing to take on risk… Hunter will work if we need him too [sic] as well.”

Five days later, Biden’s business associate Jason Galanis confirmed to Archer that he had changed the corporate references in the proposal to include a Hunter Biden-controlled firm. Archer replied, clearly pleased. “Perfect. Let’s just keep to that. We get the Biden lift and stay out of Heinz panties.” Archer had noted he would use Rosemont Seneca Partners instead of Rosemont Capital, in which Heinz held a stake. Hunter Biden and Devon Archer’s Rosemont Seneca Partners would play a pivotal role in their future deals.

Melania Trump cancels campaign trip due to ‘lingering cough’

First lady Melania Trump canceled plans to attend a campaign rally for President Donald Trump on Tuesday due to a “lingering cough” from her bout of COVID-19, her chief of staff said.

Stephanie Grisham said the first lady is still recovering from her illness, nearly three weeks after her diagnosis.

“Mrs. Trump continues to feel better every day following her recovery from COVID-19, but with a lingering cough, and out of an abundance of caution, she will not be traveling today,” Grisham said.

The event in Erie, Pa., Tuesday night would have been the first lady’s first campaign event since the president’s White House speech as part of the Republican National Convention in August.

Melania Trump said last week she tested negative for the novel coronavirus after experiencing a “roller coaster” of symptoms, including body aches, cough, headache and fatigue. She said she chose a “more natural route” for her treatment, focusing on taking vitamins and eating healthy foods.

She also said the couple’s son, Barron Trump, tested positive for the virus, but has since tested negative.

The president, meanwhile, was hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., for three days after experiencing some breathing troubles brought on by COVID-19. Doctors treated him with an experimental antibody cocktail by Regeneron and remdesivir, an antiviral originally created to treat the Ebola virus.

Donald Trump is expected to give remarks at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Erie International Airport before returning to the White House.

Here’s What Day The Senate Will Vote To Confirm Amy Coney Barrett

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday that the Senate would vote Oct. 26 to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett

“We will be voting to confirm Justice-to-be Barrett next Monday and I think that will be another signature accomplishment in our effort to put on the courts, the federal courts, men and women who believe in a quaint notion that the job of a judge is to actually follow the law,” McConnell said during a press conference after Republicans’ weekly Senate lunch.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham set October 22 as the date for the committee vote, despite pushback from Democrats. After the vote passes the committee, it will be brought to the floor for a full vote in the Senate

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Democrats will not “supply quorum,” meaning Democrats would not show up so work could not be done, for votes in the Senate as a way to try and block the confirmation of Barrett before the election.

However, Democrats do not seem to be moving forward with that plan.

“If we boycott the meeting today you know Senator Graham has indicated that he’ll just potentially vote it out of committee or change the rules or do whatever he wants to do,” Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal, who sits on the committee, said, according to The Hill.

“Boycotting a meeting is a tactic that could be used at some point but I don’t think today’s meeting is the one where it would be appropriate or effective to do it,” he continued.

The Judiciary Committee is set to vote her out of committee on Thursday at 1 p.m.

'Vector of influence': Labor grills officials about QAnon family friend of Scott Morrison

Prime minister’s department staff tell Senate estimates they have not briefed the PM on the conspiracy theory

Officials from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet have not briefed Scott Morrison on the QAnon conspiracy theory following the FBI’s decision to identify the group as a potential domestic terror threat, and say they are unaware that Twitter has suspended the account of a family friend of the prime minister.

Labor asked a series of questions in Senate estimates on Tuesday after Twitter confirmed it permanently suspended a QAnon account belonging to a family friend of the prime minister’s for “engaging in coordinated harmful activity”.

Before the suspension, the owner of the account, Tim Stewart, shared content associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory to his tens of thousands of followers. Stewart’s wife works at Kirribilli House.

Labor’s Senate leader, Penny Wong, said she wanted to pursue a line of questioning because it was in the public interest to ensure there was no “vector of influence” with Morrison given the “dangerous” suppositions of the “fringe conspiracy movement”, and the FBI’s concerns.

“It’s about transparency,” Wong said.

The department’s deputy secretary, Stephanie Foster, told the hearing the only association the department had with the issue Wong was prosecuting was to “assist with the employment of a staff member for Kirribilli House”.

Foster said all appropriate checks were undertaken to ensure the appointment was suitable, “including the relevant police checks”.

“That was our responsibility, and we felt we had executed that responsibility appropriately,” she said. “I’m not sure there is a broader role the department can take with this issue.”

Another departmental official said all three staff employed at the prime minister’s Sydney residence had security clearances.

Wong asked Foster whether the department was aware that the Twitter account had been suspended. “I was not aware of that senator,” Foster replied.

Labor’s Senate leader observed this was curious, given the ban had been reported by both Guardian Australia and News Corp, and “you do a fair bit of media monitoring”.

“I do find that surprising,” Wong said.

Foster responded: “Were it not for the fact that, um, the gentleman’s spouse was employed at Kirribilli, I’m not sure that we would have any, um, association with this issue at all.”

She said officials had “tried to restrict our activities” to the employee.
