Can be as simple as an adversary singing up your number to an automated trigger to have any number of call centers ringing your phone… the cons at the call center just try their normal con.

Frustrates you and waists your time. Very petty.

Also agree.

However, what the anon may have been asking, from good instincts, comes from a corollary/timing dynamic. Keep in mind all the biofield sensing current “smart” phones can do now far beyond just have in the mic or camera looking and listening. Heart beat, blood pressure, ‘state of emotion/mind…

Disgusting

But yes… 95% criminal scammers selling databases to each other. Telecoms still have to answer for that.

Grandpa was horrified by these calls… he could not understand how easy it was for people to lie about being IRS, SSA, FBI, local LEOs… he repeatedly thought people were coming to arrest him for things he never did. Early grave.

I have nothing but contempt for telecom and fed level LE for not killing this activity yesterday.

Not answering, is the most common ‘advice’ i hear people offer. If you want.

However I answer all of them… play dumb for a few moments, then change my tone of voice 180.

Interesting what you can then learn from Them.
