Anti-lockdown and pro-choice protesters descend on Warsaw, traffic blockade & women’s strike planned next

 

Opponents of tough Covid-19 restrictions and a near-total ban on abortion have rallied simultaneously in the Polish capital. Pro-choice activists promised a nationwide women’s strike next week.

 

Protesters in Warsaw demanded a β€œwise and responsible” approach to fighting the coronavirus, which would include the easing of quarantine restrictions and the voluntary self-isolation of vulnerable groups. They also asked the government to compensate businesses reeling from the outbreak. Officials introduced tougher measures against Covid-19 earlier this month, following a spike in cases.

 

In the town of Bialystok, people lit candles outside the offices of the ruling conservative Law and Justice party (PiS), while in Wroclaw, activists left coat hangers – the symbol of a life-threatening method of self-induced abortion – on the gate of the archbishop’s residence.

While most of the rallies were peaceful, minor incidents were reported. In the port city of Gdynia, football fans who had joined the protests broke into the office of a local PiS lawmaker, and police used tear gas to drive them out. Protesters also blocked traffic on the roads, and some of the drivers expressed solidarity with their cause.

 

In Katowice, an opposition MP, Maciej Kopiec, was briefly handcuffed following an altercation with the police. Officers claimed he was detained after kicking a riot shield and refusing to identify himself.

 

Abortion is a highly contentious issue in Poland – a predominately Catholic state. The country already had one of the most restrictive laws on ending pregnancy in Europe when, on Thursday, a court ruling banned abortions carried out when a fetus is deformed. Now, women can undergo abortions only in the case of rape, incest, or where the mother’s health is at risk.

Pope Francis includes first black American, a noted Trump critic, among 13 new cardinals

 

Pope Francis has announced 13 new cardinals, the most notable of which is Washington DC Archbishop Wilton Gregory, the first black American prelate to earn the honor.

 

They will be honored in a ceremony on November 28.

 

Gregory was appointed Archbishop of DC in 2019, having served in cities that included Chicago and Atlanta. The churchman made a name for himself this year when he publicly criticized President Donald Trump over his visit to Washington’s Saint John Paul II Shrine.

 

Black Lives Matter protesters had gathered in downtown DC to protest police brutality and had to be dispersed by law enforcement officers, reportedly with tear gas, in order for Trump and the First Lady to safely visit the church. The president was accused by critics of encouraging violent clashes between police and citizens simply to secure a photo opportunity.

 

Gregory said he found it β€œbaffling and reprehensible” that β€œany Catholic facility” would allow itself to be β€œso egregiously misused and manipulated.” Pope John Paul II – who was posthumously canonized – had been an β€œardent defender of the rights and dignity of human beings,” he added.

 

β€œHe certainly would not [have] condone[d] the use of tear gas and other deterrents to silence, scatter, or intimidate them for a photo opportunity in front of a place of worship and peace,” Gregory continued.

 

In other public comments, Gregory has praised those who β€œtake to the streets to protest injustice,” though he has claimed he is not partisan.

Washington Post: Treat Hunter Biden Emails as Foreign Intel β€” β€˜Even if They Probably Aren’t’

 

The Washington Post published an op-ed Saturday advising readers: β€œWe must treat the Hunter Biden leaks as if they were a foreign intelligence operation β€” even if they probably aren’t.”

 

The rationale for this argument, by Johns Hopkins Professor Thomas Rid, was that Russian interference in 2016 β€” through the hacking of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) email server, blamed by intelligence agencies on Russia β€” provided damaging information about the inner workings of the party (specifically, how it prevented socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont from winning the nomination.)

 

Therefore any unexpected information β€” even if true β€” that could affect voters’ choice in 2020 must be treated with suspicion.

 

Rid may have revealed more than he intended about how the hivemind of the Beltway sprang into action to suppress the story:

 

[O]n Oct. 14, files purportedly from the mysterious laptop spilled into public view in the New York Post. My Signal messaging app immediately lit up with keen observers suspecting that this was finally it: the long-expected Russian hack-and-leak operation, a rerun of 2016, surfaced via a computer repair shop and the Post, in lieu of Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks.

 

β€œSignal” is an app that allows users to send encrypted messages, and it is known to be used by government employees to share and leak information. Rid’s account of observers β€œsuspecting” that they were seeing something β€œlong-awaited” suggests confirmation bias β€” defined as β€œ[t]he tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one’s existing beliefs or theories.”

 

At one point, Rid actually claimed that β€œthe Trump campaign had long signaled that it was receptive to receiving hacked materials, whatever the sourcing.” He linked to an article in the Daily Beast β€” an anti-Trump publication β€” about Trump’s joke at a July 2016 press conference about Russia finding Hillary Clinton’s missing emails.

 

Rid allowed that there is no evidence of Russian involvement β€” and argued that if Russia had been involved, it would have produced information that β€œwould have actual political impact, instead of the unremarkable material revealed in the Post so far.”

 

In other words, Rid invoked the media’s deliberate suppression of the story, partly a result of unfounded suspicions about β€œRussia,” to suggest that perhaps Russia was not to blame after all.

 

Rid closed by warning against assuming Russia was involved, adding that β€œthere are good reasons to be skeptical of the theory that the laptop is a foreign plot.”

 

At no point in the article did Rid discuss the substance of the emails revealed by the New York Post, other than to say that they accused Joe Biden of β€œcorruption in Ukraine.”

 

He did not mention other emails on the laptop connecting the Bidens to a business proposal with a private Chinese company β€” one corroborated by would-be partner Tony Bobulinksi last week.

Germany's top Covid-19 research body firebombed overnight in possible politically motivated arson attack – police

 

Unidentified perpetrators have thrown bottles and "incendiary devices" at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin. The incident was relatively minor, but the target is a top institution leading the national effort to combat Covid-19.

 

The attack happened at around 2:40am on Sunday morning, the German police said. The projectiles were thrown at the facade of the building, breaking a window pane and producing some flames. A security guard put out the fire, which caused no injuries.

 

Whoever was behind the attack escaped the scene. The police said they are treating the investigation very seriously because it may have been a "politically motivated attempted arson."

 

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI)is the German federal government agency responsible for dealing with infectious diseases and formulating preventative healthcare policies. Years before Henry Kissinger and Brent Scowcroft made population reduction the official foreign policy of the United States Government, the Rockefeller brothers, most especially John D Rockefeller III, or JDR III as he was affectionately known, were busy experimenting on human guinea pigs.

 

In the 1950’s, brother Nelson Rockefeller was occupied with exploiting the cheap, non-union labor of Puerto Ricans in the New York garment center sweatshops, flying them into New York at cheap rates on the family’s Eastern Airlines shuttle. He was also engaged in setting up cheap labor manufacturing directly on the island, far away from prying US health and industrial safety regulators, under a government program named Operation Bootstrap.

 

At the time, Nelson was Under Secretary of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare and a shadowy and highly influential figure in the Eisenhower Administration.

In Nelson’s version of Operation Bootstrap, the boots were owned by the Rockefeller family and their business friends. The only straps were those used by sweatshop owners on the island to force a higher level of productivity.

 

While Nelson was thus busy encouraging the spirit of free enterprise among Puerto Ricans, brother John D. III, was running human experiments in mass sterilization on the poorer citizens of Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico was an unfortunate island whose sovereignty got lost somewhere in the shuffle of American diplomacy. It was a de facto US colony, with ultimate legal control decided far away in Washington, making it an ideal experiment station. Through his newly founded Population Council, JDR III first ran some of the experiments in population reduction which would later become global State Department policy under Henry Kissinger’s NSSM 200.

JDR III made Puerto Rico into a huge laboratory to test his ideas on mass population control beginning in the 1950’s. By 1965, an estimated 35% of Puerto Rico’s women of childbearing age had been permanently sterilized, according to a study made that year by the island’s Public Health Department. The Rockefeller Population Council, and the US Government Department of Health Education and Welfareβ€”where brother Nelson was Under-Secretaryβ€”packaged the sterilization campaign. They used the spurious argument that it would protect women’s health and stabilize incomes if there were fewer mouths to feed.

 

Poor Puerto Rican peasant women were encouraged to give birth in sanitary new US-built hospitals where doctors were under orders to sterilize mothers after two children by tying their tubes, usually without the mother’s being aware of what was being done. By 1965, Puerto Rico was a world leader in at least one category. It had the highest percentage of sterilized women in the world. India lagged badly in comparison, with a mere 3%. It made a difference when the Rockefeller family could control the process directly without government meddling.

Forget the Hunter Biden sex tapes. The real news is much bigger than that.

GTV, a Chinese dissident billionaire’s Taiwan-based media outlet, is releasing sordid, depressing videos and photographs of a person purported to be Hunter Biden engaging in sex and seemingly smoking crack. That’s not the big news. The big news is that the same outlet claims that (a) Communist China owns Joe Biden; (b) Joe Biden sold out CIA assets in China who were then executed or imprisoned; and (c) GTV has millions of images showing other presumably influential people in comprising positions. If all this is true, we may see a complete realignment in Western politics.

 

The Hunter Biden videos and images are at GTV’s video site. I won’t give the link here because the material is pornographic. However, the following are two cropped pictures. In both, the person appearng to be Hunter is naked and with a woman. In the second picture, Hunter appears to be lighting a crack pipe while engaged in sexual activity with the woman:

 

What’s more interesting than the images themselves is the story behind them and the allegations included with them. Taiwan-based GTV and GNews, which published the material, are owned by Guo Wengui, a dissent Chinese billionaire.

 

Guo was born in mainland China and gained his wealth doing construction work. Eventually, he ran into trouble, and the Chinese government accused him of corruption. (The reality, of course, is that anyone who has become wealthy in China was corrupt.)

 

Guo escaped with his wealth to America. He is a fervent enemy of the Chinese Communist Party and has made it his mission to bring it down. One of his friends is Steve Bannon, with whose help he founded GTV and GNews. In June, Bannon joined with Guo to declare a β€œNew Federal State of China” they hope will overthrow China’s communist government.

 

When the New York Post, on October 14, published its first report about Hunter Biden’s hard drive, that wasn’t the first time Hunter’s computer made the news. According to the Daily Beast, on September 25, a Guo-affiliated YouTube station uploaded a Chinese-language video announcing that Guo and Bannon had sent β€œsent three hard disks of evidence” to both the Justice Department and Nancy Pelosi.

 

Three days later, Himalaya Global, a movement that Guo and Bannon started, published a tweet making the same announcement, only adding that the disks created a β€œbig money and sex scandal.” Twitter has since suspended the account, but the Daily Beast captured the contents:

 

When the Daily Beast wrote its October 16 article, it labeled the Guo outlet’s claims as β€œabsurd on their face” and added that they showed β€œendless conspiracy theorizing….” Since then, revelations from the New York Post, Rudy Giuliani, Tony Bobulinski, and other anonymous sources have confirmed that Hunter’s hard drive had compromising financial information. Now, thanks to GTV’s videos and photos, it looks like Guo was also telling the truth about a sex scandal.

 

In other words, the allegations in the tweet about disks of evidence and financial and sex scandals appear true. That makes it possible, indeed probable, that the other allegation in the tweet is true: namely, that not only has the FBI had Hunter’s computers since December 2019, but also that both Nancy Pelosi and the DOJ have been sitting on the same information since September 28, 2020.

 

As if that’s not shocking enough, Guo’s outlets have made a few other staggering allegations. These allegations are scattered throughout the videos and summarized in this essay at GNews (emphasis mine):

 

This video shows only the tip of the iceberg of what is important in the Chinese Communist Party’s Blue-Gold-Yellow (BGY) program. They take advantage of all those Western politicians, celebrities, and their families who are greedy for Chinese wealth, and threaten them by getting hold of and recording their sex and drug videos, forcing them to sell out their countries and people, and even their own national security in order to cooperate with the Chinese Communist Party’s world domination.

 

U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden is 100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party as one of the most successful political instances of the BGY program. He is also a target of the CCP’s 3F plan, which aims to β€œfall, fail, and fell,” to weaken, destroy and kill America!

 

The Chinese Communist Party’s use of this tactic to threaten Biden and his sons and to bribe them with large amounts of wealth is one of the major causes of the disputes over the South China Sea, US-China trade, intellectual property rights, and energy prices, etc., as well as Biden’s provision of large numbers of CIA intelligence agents in China to the Chinese Communist Party.

This 1927 Supreme Court decision opened the floodgates for thousands of American citizens to be coercively sterilized or otherwise persecuted as subhuman. One Illinois mental hospital in Lincoln fed new patients milk from known tubercular cows, in the conviction that a genetically strong human specimen would be immune.[12] The State of California was the eugenics model state. Under its sweeping eugenics law, passed in 1909, all feebleminded or other mental patients were sterilized before discharge, and any criminal found guilty of any crime three times could be sterilized at the discretion of a consulting physician. California sterilized some 9,782 individuals, mostly women classified as β€˜bad girls,’ many of whom had been forced into prostitution.[13]

Years later, the Nazis at the Nuremberg trials quoted Holmes’ words in their own defense. In the postwar world, not surprisingly, it was to no avail. The Rockefeller propaganda machine buried the reference; the victors defined the terms of peace and the truth of war.

The Rockefeller enthusiasm for eugenics during the 1920’s did not stop at America’s own shores. Rockefeller Foundation money played an instrumental role in financing German eugenics during the 1920’s. From 1922 to 1926, the Rockefeller Foundation donated through its Paris office a staggering $410,000 to a total of hundreds of German eugenics researchers. In 1926, it awarded an impressive $250,000 for the creation of the Berlin Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Psychiatry. That was the equivalent of some $26 millions in 2004 dollars, a sum especially unheard of in a Germany devastated by Weimar hyperinflation and economic depression. During the 1920’s, Rockefeller Foundation money dominated and steered German eugenics research.[14]

 

As American researcher Edwin Black and others later documented, the leading psychiatrist at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute at that time was Ernst RΓΌdin, a man who went on to a stellar career as the architect of Adolf Hitler’s systematic program of medical eugenics. The Rockefeller-financed RΓΌdin was named President of the world Eugenics Federation in 1932. Their platform was openly advocating the killing or sterilization of people whose heredity made them a β€˜public burden.’

The Rockefeller Foundation largesse for German research was apparently unbounded in those days. In 1929, the year of the great Wall Street crash and extreme German economic crisis, Rockefeller gave a grant of $310,000 to the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research, one of several subsequent Rockefeller grants.

The multi-talented RΓΌdin was also head of brain research at that institute, where was employed Hermann J. Muller, an American eugenicist also funded with Rockefeller money. Later it was revealed that the institute received β€˜brains in batches of 150-200’ from victims of the Nazi euthanasia program in Brandenburg. The brain research was directed towards the Nazi experiments on Jews, gypsies, the mentally handicapped and other β€˜defectives.’ In 1931, the Rockefeller Foundation approved a further ten-year grant of a sizeable $89,000 to RΓΌdin’s Institute for Psychiatry to research links between blood, neurology and mental illness. Rockefeller money was funding eugenics in its purest form.[15]

 

RΓΌdin also led the Nazi program of forced eugenic sterilization, and was a prime architect of the 1933 Nazi Sterilization Law. Rudin and his staff, as part of the Task Force of Heredity Experts, chaired by SS chief Heinrich Himmler, drew up the sterilization law. Described as an β€˜American Model’ law, it was adopted in July 1933 and proudly printed in the September 1933 Eugenical News (USA), with Hitler’s signature. RΓΌdin called for sterilizing all members of an unfit individual’s extended family. RΓΌdin was twice honoured by Adolf Hitler for his contribution to German eugenics and racial cleansing. Under his Sterilization Law, some 400,000 Germans were diagnosed as manic-depressive or schizophrenic and forcibly sterilized, and thousands of handicapped children were simply killed. Declaring racial hygiene a β€˜spiritual movement,’ RΓΌdin and his associates found a willing collaborator in Adolf Hitler. β€˜Only through [the FΓΌhrer] did our dream of over thirty years, that of applying racial hygiene to society, become a reality,’ Rudin said.[16]

Early Vote Counts Contradict Some Swing State Polls

 

In a number of swing states that will decide the presidential election, there’s now been enough early voting to give us a feel for who is turning out, and it doesn’t quite match the polling.

 

Here’s what we do know…

 

We know how many people requested mail-in ballots and what percentage of those requests came from Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated.

 

We know how many early votes have been counted and what percentage of those votes come from Republicans, Democrats, and unaffiliated.

 

We know that the conventional wisdom is that Democrats win the early voting and Republicans win Election Day voting. In other words, Democrats need to build a sizable early vote lead to beat the GOP on Election Day because Republicans prefer to vote in-person on Election Day.

 

What’s more, Democrats have been placing more emphasis on early voting this year than ever before. I’m not sure how wise that is, considering mail-in ballots are rejected at a much higher rate than in-person, but that’s the Democrat 2020 game plan.

 

Here’s what we don’t know…

 

We don’t know who specifically any of these people voted for. What I mean is, we don’t know who the unaffiliateds are voting for. We don’t know how many Democrats voted for Trump or how many Republicans voted for Biden.

 

With all those caveats in mind, let’s start with Texas.

 

According to the RealClearPolitics poll of polls, Trump is only up by 2.6 points in a state he won by nine points in 2016. Quinnipiac has the race all tied up at 47 percent. A Dallas Morning News poll released just today actually has Trump losing to Biden, 45 to 48 percent.

 

But look at the early voting in Texas. More than 6.7 million votes have been returned, an increase of 218 percent (that’s not a typo β€” 218 percent) over 2016, and 53 percent of those early votes come from Republicans, while only 37 percent come from Democrats and ten percent are unaffiliated.

 

Those are actual votes, which means only one of three things is possible… 1) the Texas polling is horribly wrong, 2) a ton of Republicans are voting for Biden, or 3) Democrats are going to defy what we know of their voting patterns and make this up on Election Day.

 

Now let’s look at Michigan…

 

According to the poll of polls, Trump is getting killed in Michigan by 7.8 points, a state he won by 0.3 points in 2016.

 

But look at the early voting in Michigan. Of the 3.1 million mail-in ballots requested, 41 percent of those requests came from Republicans and only 39 percent came from Democrats.

 

Of the two million ballots returned, the GOP still leads by two points, 41 to 39 percent. I should add that early voting returns are up 206 percent in Michigan compared to 2016.

 

Finally, let’s look at Ohio, where, in a state Trump won by 8.1 points, the pollsters are telling us the race between Biden and Trump is tied.

 

But look at the early voting numbers in Ohio. With 2.1 million ballots returned, Republicans are walloping Democrats 48 to 39 percent with 13 percent unaffiliated. Early vote returns in Ohio are up 123 percent over 2016.

 

In Florida, the early vote trends are starting to freak out the left-wing Politico, who sounded the alarm on Sunday.

Last summer I had a number of (mostly) foreign and at least 2 domestic agencies interested enough in my activities here on QR to start doing HUMINT case workups and probably threat assessments on me. At one point, I had so many different tails that I intentionally would drive to an area with three roundabouts and went back and forth until they were all almost crashing into each other. It was glorious. Hopefully the good guys got some snaps of the bad guys...I was trying to throw them a bone.

 

The irony is that I managed the surveillance teams in this area for many years, so they all literally glowed to me. They'll tell you that it was obvious I knew who was who. Most of the time. One day I should write a book about it. There was actually a lot more going on than this...they were all very interested.

 

So, two things regarding your situation...maybe three. The Germans were some of the bolder agents and even had a decent honey pot ruse set up...actually pretty good and would've caught the less aware. So they're quite interested. They actually stayed on the op until a hurricane made them evac.

100 Migrants Arrested in 30 Hours in Texas near Border

 

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents arrested more than 100 migrants in a 30-hour period last week. The human smuggling incidents included the packing of migrants into stash houses and vehicles.

 

Between October 21 and 22, Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo Sector area of operation disrupted multiple human smuggling operations. The interdictions led to the arrest of more than 100 in the 30-hour timeframe, according to Laredo Sector Border Patrol officials.

 

Officials report the apprehension of the migrants in multiple stash house operations, vehicle stops, interior immigration checkpoints, train check operations, brush cases, and vehicle bailouts.

Agents discovered 16 individuals packed so tightly that some at the bottom of the pile were having difficulty breathing. They immediately asked for assistance due to the high temperatures in the vehicle and lack of water.

I'm sure a lot of anons have voting dilemmas this year (aside from President, though, I hope). Missouri had a very weird scandal recently after the election of Republican Eric Greitens. Gov. Greitens seems to have been removed under very suspicious circumstances and replaced with potential collusion by Mike Parson. Parson (a Republican) understandably has Trump's endorsement, but there are some big issues in play in Missouri and I am wondering specifically about the issue of Big Ag and family farming in the state. I think the Democrat (a mask mandate liberal) is at least giving lip service to making sure outside entities (including foreigners) don't have access to purchasing large swaths of Missouri farmland for highly disgusting "factory farms". However, it seems that perhaps Parson is friendly to those interests. I'm doing my research and I don't think I can vote for a Democrat for governor, but I'd like to think a vote for Parson is a good idea.

"Initially, we backed US forces’ presence in Afghanistan and earlier voted in favor of a respective UN Security Council resolution. I still believe that US presence in Afghanistan does not run counter to our external interests," Putin said in an interview with "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program on Rossiya-1 TV channel.

 

"On the contrary, when it was announced that the Americans are preparing to withdraw their military contingent - yes, our official position is that maybe this creates additional conditions for a kind of Afghan reconciliation - but I personally think that this creates many risks," Putin said.

 

"First, we will have to spend more to maintain stability and second, no matter what, still US presence in Afghanistan contributes to stability in the country and their exit creates risks," the Russian leader explained. "We don’t have to fight against the Americans’ presence there."

 

Putin noted that the two countries’ special services continued working in this direction. "We are cooperating with the US despite numerous contradictions on a lot of areas, still cooperation at the level of special services is underway," he said. In particular, this is cooperation on de-conflicting in Syria and a very good working contact was established at the operational level and at the level of military units’ chiefs.

Mail-in ballots: the US elites’ β€˜plausible deniability’ ploy to retain power

 

The US obsession with mail-in voting is incomprehensible to the rest of the world, but the true reason behind this nonsense is never openly admitted: Mail-in balloting has been a way to ensure that the elites of both parties can contest the election if they lose, thus giving them a way to deny ultimate responsibility for their loss via presenting a way to question the integrity of the election.

 

Of course this phony debate should be incomprehensible – there have already been dozens of major elections worldwide in 2020 already. The data available to the US is clear: safe in-person voting is easily assurable despite the minor challenges. There has been no correlation between elections and a post-Covid spike, and some elections have even been able to increase voter turnout despite the pandemic.

 

Therefore, the hysteria which swept the United States in March is not at all logically supportable in October: the need for mail-in ballots, much like the alleged mortality rate of Covid-19, was wildly overstated back then.

 

Yet the horse is out of the barn: nearly 40% of the US electorate (going by 2016 totals) has already voted early, and this will have a catastrophic effect on the United States because it seemingly guarantees that they will have a disputed election.

 

To be concise: nobody should expect a declared victor on the night of November 3rd because of the difficulty in counting all these slow-arriving and even late-arriving mail-in ballots, which are already tainted with dispute anyway. Furthermore, we should expect perhaps 1 million ballots to be thrown out for errors, which will obviously create further disputes – mail-in ballots will be an update of the β€œhanging chads” from 2000’s disputed election.

 

This is on top of the reality that the US general election is merely a statistical fun fact, anyway, as they vote for their president indirectly via an electoral college: look at five of the eight key β€œswing” states and polls show the lead of either Donald Trump or Joe Biden is 3 points or less, which is within the margin for error. Furthermore, US pollsters have also likely not solved the β€œhidden/shy” Trump voter issue, making polls perhaps as unreliable as 2016’s polls obviously were.

 

Given the certainty of this already equally-divided electorate, increasing the logistical challenges posed by mail-in voting, which will only increase the number of spoiled ballots, made no sense.

 

But that’s true only if we analyse it from a perspective which gives primacy to the average American citizen – it made perfect sense if we look at mail-in balloting from the point of view of the very elite of Washington’s most-privileged politicians.

my suggestion would be to research the firmware you like, and then get a phone that supports it.

 

I did the original "Your GAPPS leak" Edition post.

 

You can get the stock firmware to tell you it has no access…. But I don't believe it.

 

I've got an iphone xs hanset right now that I'm testing. Have been unable to do much in the way of that firmware, other than never log into a user account on it.

 

But that's not much in the way of protection.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace confronted Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Sunday morning over the Hunter Biden laptop story that Trumpworld has incessantly pushed recently, asking her if she could provide any proof that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took money from foreign companies and countries.

 

Team Trump and its allies in conservative media have used materials purported to be from the younger Biden’s laptop to accuse the former vice president of corruption, claiming emails show Hunter Bidden involving his father in shady foreign dealings. The Biden campaign has denied any wrongdoing, and the Wall Street Journal reported last week that a review of documents shows β€œno role for Joe Biden” in any alleged pay-for-play scheme.

With the right-wing media ecosystem continuing to run wild with the story, which involves Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and other assorted sketchy personalities, Wallace grilled McDaniel on Fox News Sunday on whether or not there was any fire behind all the smoke.

β€œDo you have any proof, because he’s denied it, do you have any proof that Joe Biden ever took one penny from either a foreign country or a foreign company?” Wallace pressed the GOP leader.

 

β€œI think that’s incumbent upon the press to start investigating,” McDaniel deflected. β€œI think what’s frightening is we should have a free and fair press that should be looking at a laptop that has not been disputed by the Biden campaign to be authentic.”

 

β€œThese emails are deeply troubling as it looks like Hunter Biden is negotiating with a Chinese energy company to profit not just for himself, but for his father, but it warrants an investigation,” she continued. β€œThat’s not my job. That’s the press’ job. That’s the FBI, those who have this laptop, to look into it.”

 

As McDaniel began complaining about social media platforms restricting the dissemination of some of the initial Hunter Biden stories, Wallace interjected to once again ask her about the actual veracity of Republicans’ allegations.

 

β€œI’m going to say, the FBI had a hard driveβ€”if I may,” he declared. β€œDon’t mean to interrupt, but let me ask you, the FBI has had the hard drive since December, why haven’t they come up with any evidence?”

 

McDaniel shrugged off Wallace’s question, noting that she was not involved in the β€œinternal aspects of that investigation” before pivoting again to Twitter β€œcensoring these stories” and claiming the media is in the tank for Biden.

 

β€œThe press is saying this has been debunked without even investigating it,” she groused. β€œWhy are they doing that? Why are they covering for the story? If this were the Trump family and this laptop and emerged it would be all over the news 24/7. It is frightening as we are looking at a candidate who is going to take us closer to socialism that we have a press that is showing itself not to be free and fair.”

 

Notably, McDaniel was unable to point to any actual evidence of corruption or malfeasance on the part of the ex-veep.
