So are a LOT of us. I investigated it and decided it was a lot of hubris and didn't bother when it was recommended to me in HS. His claimed IQ of 184 is up there … but he's not "up there" alone.
That number basically just measures how quickly you pick up new information and make connections. I'm in the upper 3%. That and a $1.50 is usually enough to buy a donut. Depending on where you are, there may not be enough left for a coffee to go with it.
ISTR that the smartest person in MENSA when I was in HS was a janitor in the St. Louis schools.
