the electors are usually just political hacks. ex governor's , big donors
mainly for show as most states require them to vote for the winner in their state
but we need to watch them as a bunch of states are trying to get their electors to vote for the leader in the national vote instead of their state vote
trying to get rid of the electoral college by deceit instead of by law

national popular vote interstate compact
