>'cup and lip'

It seems to me the old saying is very apt in this case…there's "many a slip, twixt cup and lip". I do hope to see some signs of the slips over the legality of the election results soon.

Guesstimates are probably quite close to reality, however you need exact sizes/heights….what you need is for an intrepid free climber anon to scale the fucking thing with a lazer distance meter, notepad and pencil to take the correct heights…..not just of the cam but of everything that needs measuring, nearby walls, lamp-posts etc.

…Kind of along the principle of "cut once measure twice".

No point doing all the calcs with the wrong sizes, it will only result in doing all the calcs again.

>we would always be in the realm of comparing our perfect "apple" to the open source "orange" Ground-level altitudes given for the City of London.

The whole country is covered in datum points. Often marked in stone structures and in to the ground. I think they give a lot of information on elevations, presumably some are lost as a result of construction works when new roads and building works are completed…I'd assume replacements are made on those instances though.

If there were any nearby they could be used for more accurate computations?

I know nothing about this guy, but according to the sun newspaper he has just recently built "underground tunnels" on his property and if it is for growing a wee bit of mary jane then fair enough.

I just thought I would drop this here because of rumours I have heard regarding celebs/politicians wanting to go live there recently.

here is a quote from the article…

>The Castle on the Hill singer spent £4million >buying the farmhouse and four neighbouring >homes to create the rural domain — plus >£3million on extravagant additions.

>Sheeran, 29, added a pub, giant tree house, >prayer room, underground music room, >wildlife pond and interconnecting tunnels.

>But experts say the changes could put future >buyers off.
