Whitmer encourages Michigan to prep for winter this week. The governor signed a proclamation to make this week Winter Hazards Awareness Week.

Although temperatures are in the 70s, it's time to start thinking about winter. weather.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declared Nov. 8-14 Winter Hazards Awareness Week in Michigan to encourage residents to prioritize winter emergency preparedness.

“Michiganders are no strangers to winter weather,” said Gov. Whitmer. “I’ve proclaimed this week as Michigan’s Winter Hazards Awareness Week to remind everyone to take a few steps to prepare for winter and ensureyou and your family are ready for winter weather.”

The state gave some tips on preparing your home for winter, including:

Weatherproof your home by installing weather-stripping and caulking and insulating walls, doors and windows.

Insulate any water lines that run along exterior walls, so pipes are less likely to freeze.

Lock in a propane rate and have a backup heating plan, such as a generator, wood stove or fireplace.

Have furnaces inspected by a qualified professional and change the air filter.

Have your fireplace and chimney cleaned and inspected. Contact your local fire department for a referral or look for a local inspector online.

Install battery-operated carbon monoxide (CO) detectors near every sleeping area.

Clean gutters to prevent ice dams from forming. Roof ice dams can cause water to build-up, leading to interior damage.

Clear storm drains along the curb to enable water to drain. If plugged, water has the potential to go into low-lying areas and flood basements.

Have an emergency preparedness kit stored safely in your house that includes water, non-perishable food, a first aid kit, extra batteries, a battery or hand-crank powered radio, emergency lighting or flashlights, extra blankets and warm clothing.

To prepare your vehicle for winter:

Have your radiator serviced before winter and make sure to replace windshield wipers and wiper fluid with a wintertime mixture that will not freeze.

Replace any worn tires and check air pressure regularly.

Have your brakes, brake fluid, oil, car battery, heater and exhaust checked to make sure everything is running efficiently.

Keep an emergency preparedness kit in your vehicle stocked with batteries, battery powered or hand-crank radio, flashlight, windshield scraper, jumper cables, mobile phone charger, shovel, blankets, first aid kit, non-perishable food and bottled water in the event you get stranded or stuck.

Polis Pleads With Colorado To ‘Show The Grit We Need,’ Reconsider Thanksgiving Plans To Overcome Coronavirus Surge

COVID-19 is hitting new records for infections and hospitalizations in Colorado. Gov. Jared Polis says 894 people are now hospitalized with the virus.

 

The number has risen sharply in recent weeks and tops the record of 888 reached in mid-April. The governor is urging people to significantly limit interactions outside their home and reconsider Thanksgiving plans.

 

"This is an intervention, cancel your social plans the next few weeks, avoid interacting with others, wear a mask, keep your distance, let's get through this," Polis said.

 

At least 18 counties in Colorado have moved to the second highest level of severity on the state dial, one step away from renewed Stay At Home orders. The state epidemiologist expects the number of deaths to rise with so many people sick in the hospital with COVID-19.

 

A new public health order issued this week changed the way the state classifies the seriousness of the pandemic and grants more local authority.

Eurofag here venting, every person I know or met, from a 90 IQ tv watcher to a 130 IQ phd is okay with the lockdown and mask shit. Either they're indifferent or mildly annoyed but think it's necessary. Every single woman goes "You wouldn't think this way if someone you knew was sick" and proceeds to tell me how they know someone who is sick. Some friend's aunt's sister's 90 year old grandma supposedly dies from it and that's enough to convince them to accept anything. And there's nothing you can do to make them to start asking questions, they literally don't want to know.

8 fucking months and no end in sight, it's pretty much confirmed until March. Healthy people considered ill using a fraudulent test. Bacteria infested rags on the face which ironically is what making people more sick, economy and livelihoods being wrecked, children are indoctrinated into believing this farce and no one asks a single question. These people will beg for the vaccine. No matter what huge shifts happen in the US, undoing this level of conditioning will require centuries. Convince me to kms or to not, I can't live in such a society, I can't even figure out what to do anymore. I can't stand being surrounded by these robots and there's nowhere to go.

The Pentagon is required to give Gitmo detainees the same medical care as U.S. troops. How's that going to work?

 

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba — The oldest man still held in military detention here is 71 years old. Many others are in their 50s.

 

It’s not entirely clear how the U.S. government plans to care for them in their old age.

 

The 40 remaining prisoners at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base have the same physical ailments of any aging population. They need hip replacements, eye surgeries, treatment for sleep apnea, mental health disorders and, one day, probably cancer and dementia. As the military commissions designed by the Bush administration lurch unevenly towards convictions — a federal appeals court recently tossed aside three years of litigation in the USS Cole case — it appears increasingly likely that many of these men will grow old and die on the U.S. taxpayer’s dime.

 

The aging population at Gitmo poses unique challenges for Adm. John Ring, the latest in a string of officers who have led the prison on one-year deployments. Defense attorneys say many detainees suffer the ill effects of brutal interrogation tactics now considered to be torture. The United States has committed to providing the same health care to the remaining detainees that it provides to its own troops, as required by the Geneva Conventions. But the secure medical facilities built to treat the detainees — Ring calls them “guests” — can’t cope with every kind of surgery geriatric patients typically need, and weren’t built to last forever. Congress has prohibited the transfer of detainees to the continental United States, which means any treatment they receive will have to take place at a remote outpost on the tip of Cuba.

i had a massive Synchronicity revolving around WETIKO, December 9, 2016. I'll always remember this day.

 

My friend and i tripped together at my house, and decided to meditate. We turned off all of the music, the house went silent, and we closed our eyes. my mind was relatively peaceful for a few minutes, but then went to a very VERY dark place.

 

I started thinking about all the pizzagate shit we had uncovered earlier in the year, and from there it just went darker, all of the dark shit that investigation involved. all of the dark shit that happens that is still unknown to us. in my mind i was wondering WHHYYY?!!!! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?! WHY DO some of US, HUMANS JUST LIKE US, DESIRE SUCH EVIL?! DESIRE TO PERPETRATE SUCH EVIL?!

 

I started feeling sick to my stomach, i opened my eyes. Right as i was opening my eyes, i was glancing at my friend, and he was opening his eyes too. We hadn't said a single word to each other since we had agreed to meditate and turned off the music.

 

And when we opened our eyes, and looked at each other, in near perfect synch, we both..opened our mouths and said….."Why, dude?" And i said "I feel……dirty, do you….." and he finished my sentence "feel it to? Yeah, dude."

 

and we had an hour long discussion about WHY and HOW it is that not only are we all as humans capable of such evil, but why some of us even DESIRE it.

 

Well, my friend and i have a spiritual community, our Sangha, if you will, and we have an ongoing group chat that.

 

We put the music back on, and both picked up our phones, and we checked our group chat. Our friends, most of whom we've never met in person, with the exception of 1, who are spread out all over the US, had been having a conversation for 2 hours on WETIKO.

 

One member had posted a link to a youtube video very similar to this one, and had spurred on the conversation, right as my friend was getting to my house for our trip, and neither of us had checked the group chat that entire day, until after our meditation/talk.

 

WETIKO was the PERFECT name for what were trying to describe after our meditation.

 

Any of you guys ever experienced absolutely WILD synchronicities like this?

I'm gonna be critical here, but I think Anons will get it.

 

Rudy does not come across as credible to normies. There, I said it. He is passionate about what he is doing, he has a lot of professional level cred, and I love everything he is presenting. But he comes across as a guy struggling for words, almost like ranting and raving because no one wants to listen. It doesn't matter how good the info is, it is either his demeanor or his delivery. A non-believer would listed to Rudy for 5 seconds and just tune out. I say that as someone who has crossed swords with a lot of liberals and pseudo-intellectuals…..there is a reason they all liked Obama, and it has more to do with the confident, polished delivery than anything else. We are facing the normie masses who already think Trump is an orange-haired boob, because of his style and delivery. So having Rudy as a spokesman, or the general out there fighting the war in the street – is not going to change many minds IMO. I could see him appealing to New Yorkers, say, or the older New England crowd. Maybe that is his mission.

 

Bannon – although he is a warrior and seems like a great strategist, as a spokesman I think he is falling short in the 'optics'. This guy has brilliant things to say, is well spoken, and truly presents some compelling arguments. While being unshaven, un-combed hair, and wearing a field coat. I don't understand the conflicting image, and I get it that he is casting himself as an un-scripted and heroic dark horse kind of guy. But if red-pilling is the goal, he is not going to sell many tickets to the leftist pseudo-intellectuals. Maybe his mission is to come across as Uncle Steve to the smart millennials. Maybe he is just trying to reach the existing red base, in which case he will sell tickets just by riding Trumps coattails.

 

It is fortunate that Trump does such a good job reaching out thru Twitter, and the Patriot movement. Truly I don't think there would be an Awakening at all if he had to rely only on people like Rudy, Bannon, Hannity, Stone, and the rest.

Yes, I don't know much about the tradition, but the concept for describing evil as a collective mind-heart-spirit parasite is a pretty wild thing. It makes a ton of sense that such a "thing" could exist and go undetected.

 

I've experienced some real intense stuff. It was also my academic background so when it spontaneously happened for a number of days, I was equipped with some pretty interesting tools.

 

Essentially, I discovered what may be at the heart of the problem. Simply, our perceptions are not necessarily reflective of factual representations of reality. This is tough to understand when trying to perceive the 1st person with the 1st person.

 

But basically, there is rough consensus among traditions that there is an ever-growing concentric envelope of states of consciousness. Let me use the terms gross to subtle to casual to witness to nondual. Different traditions, even psychology, have different terms and even more refined states.

 

The issue is that the consensus has taken the collective phenomenological sensation of moving through the states as equivalent to their relative structual positioning. The best example would be to show you floors 5, 2, 40, and 23 of a building in an elevator, but according to your experience, you would have experienced them as floors 1, 2, 3, and 4 as you would have no further input in which to see beyond.

 

All of the traditions are making this mistake…for thousands of years…and it's impeding the waking up process.

 

The phenomenological consensus is correct, but the actual structure is more like the gross and subtle being two sides of a coin, or like oil and water with the causal being a meniscus structurally in the middle, but emergent and characteristic of causal. However, while structurally second, it is only perceived third upon leaving the glass and seeing from the witness perspective.

 

It's a real mind fuck, but it feels like the key to understanding consciousness and developing better guides for would be awakeners.

Just hours after the mainstream media has anointed Joe Biden as President-Elect, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to be having some type of meltdown. With Trump on his way out of office, AOC has turned her ire against a new cause: Democrats that aren't moving far enough to the left.

 

Perhaps indifferent about the fact that the Presidential election seems to have swung in her favor since there was no "blue wave", AOC said this weekend that Democrats who lost House seats "relied too heavily on outdated Democratic National Committee campaign tactics," according to Fox News.

 

She called those who lost seats "sitting ducks" and refuted the claim that some Democrats thought the ideas of defunding the police and the Green New Deal cost moderates their seats; and made the Presidential race extremely close.

 

AOC told the New York Times in an interview: “Our party isn’t even online, not in a real way that exhibits competence. And so, yeah, they were vulnerable to these messages, because they weren’t even on the mediums where these messages were most potent. Sure, you can point to the message, but they were also sitting ducks. They were sitting ducks.”

 

She continued: “There’s a reason Barack Obama built an entire national campaign apparatus outside of the Democratic National Committee. And there’s a reason that when he didn’t activate or continue that, we lost House majorities. Because the party — in and of itself — does not have the core competencies, and no amount of money is going to fix that.”

 

She also lashed out at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee: “If you are the DCCC, and you’re hemorrhaging incumbent candidates to progressive insurgents, you would think that you may want to use some of those firms. But instead, we banned them. So the DCCC banned every single firm that is the best in the country at digital organizing.”

 

And she also took at shot at the leadership of her party: “The leadership and elements of the party — frankly, people in some of the most important decision-making positions in the party — are becoming so blinded to this anti-activist sentiment that they are blinding themselves to the very assets that they offer.”

 

“I need my colleagues to understand that we are not the enemy. And that their base is not the enemy. That the Movement for Black Lives is not the enemy, that "Medicare-for-all" is not the enemy. This isn’t even just about winning an argument. It’s that if they keep going after the wrong thing, I mean, they’re just setting up their own obsolescence,” she said.

Trump and his family go on TV to complain about voter fraud. We get it, it's real. However a third party bringing this to light would help a lot more. If it's just Trumps family on the news complaining about it we've gotten nowhere.

 

Wheres the Bill Barr or Durham booms? Why isn't any govt agencies stepping in to reveal voter fraud? Without legal action to support the claims how far can we get?
