You don't have to be PETA to be disturbed by this. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets a visit from game wardens. It did surprise me that he said A&E was going to have him on a show. As far as I'm concerned, it's abuse.
You're absolutely right. I shouldn't have used that phrase to preface my opinion. It's a habit I have, that I suppose comes from of years of trying not to offend anyone. Thanks for pointing it out; today may be the day to break that habit.
Raccoons are natural scavengers, and yes, they'll consume some of our bad processed foods when they eat discarded food in the trash and such. I was not blaming that guy for GMOs, I was blaming him for hand-feeding junk food to wild animals to the point where they are obese and unhealthy, and rely on him rather than their natural instincts.

Kek. Not PETA, Anon. I think they, like most other organizations, have been taken over by the radical activists. I have no problem with using animal skin for clothing, and hunting animals for food, but I do believe in ethical treatment.
