Rhodes Scholarship Becomes Laughingstock After Embracing the Left’s “Woke Culture”

Twitter user David Burge provided one of the finest, and most succinct, descriptions of modern leftism in a brief tweet back in 2015:

1. Identify a respected institution.

2. kill it.

3. gut it.

4. wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.#lefties

— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) November 10, 2015

Burge’s observation has been vindicated over and over again, in one once-useful institution after another. From Harvard University to the FBI, from The New York Times to the Boy Scouts of America, America is littered with organizations that may have deserved respect fifty or one hundred years ago, but are now destructive, parasitic entities sucking the lifeblood of America.

One of the most glaring skin suits of all, though, is America’s most famous academic award, the Rhodes Scholarship.

The Rhodes Scholarship was established in 1902 by diamond magnate Cecil Rhodes, to award the most accomplished students and promote harmony between the United States, Germany, and the nations of the British Empire.

The 2021 Rhodes class, announced in late November, is such an orgy of left-wing identity politics it would be impossible to parody.

“This year’s American Rhodes Scholars—independently elected by 16 committees around the country meeting simultaneously—reflect the remarkable diversity that characterizes and strengthens the United States. Twenty-one of the 32 are students of color; ten are Black, equal to the greatest number ever elected in one year in the United States. Fifteen are first-generation Americans or immigrants; and one is a Dreamer with active DACA status. Seventeen of the winners are women, 14 are men, and one is nonbinary. These young Americans will go to Oxford next October to study in fields broadly across the social, biological and physical sciences, the humanities, and public policy. They are leaders already, and we are confident that their contributions to public welfare globally will expand exponentially over the course of their careers.” [Rhodes Trust]

Of course, the scholarship winners don’t reflect the diversity of America in the slightest. What they reflect is the political obsessions of those running the Rhodes Scholarship.

EPA Forced To Study Glyphosate, Finds Pesticide Could Injure Or Kill 93% Of Endangered Species

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a draft biological evaluation last week finding that glyphosate is likely to injure or kill 93% of the plants and animals protected under the Endangered Species Act.

The long-anticipated draft biological evaluation released by the agency’s pesticide office found that 1,676 endangered species are likely to be harmed by glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup and the world’s most-used pesticide.

The draft biological opinion also found that glyphosate adversely modifies critical habitat for 759 endangered species, or 96% of all species for which critical habitat has been designated.

“The hideous impacts of glyphosate on the nation’s most endangered species are impossible to ignore now,” said Lori Ann Burd, environmental health director at the Center for Biological Diversity. “Glyphosate use is so widespread that even the EPA’s notoriously industry-friendly pesticide office had to conclude that there are hardly any endangered species that can manage to evade its toxic impacts.

Hundreds of millions of pounds of glyphosate are used each year in the U.S., mostly in agriculture but also on lawns, gardens, landscaping, roadsides, schoolyards, national forests, rangelands, power lines and more.

According to the EPA, 280 million pounds of glyphosate are used just in agriculture, and glyphosate is sprayed on 298 million acres of crop land each year. 84% of glyphosate pounds applied in agriculture are applied to soy, corn and cotton, commodity crops that are genetically engineered to tolerate being drenched with quantities of glyphosate that would normally kill a plant.

Glyphosate is also widely used in fruit and vegetable production.

“As we prepare to feast on our favorite Thanksgiving dishes, the ugly truth of how harmful industrial-scale agriculture has become in the U.S. has never been so apparent,” said Burd. “If we want to stop the extinction of amazing creatures like monarch butterflies, we need the EPA to take action to stop the out-of-control spraying of deadly poisons.”

The EPA has, for decades, steadfastly refused to comply with its obligation under the Endangered Species Act to assess the harms of pesticides to protected plants and animals. But it was finally forced to do this evaluation under the terms of a 2016 legal agreement with the Center for Biological Diversity.

VIDEO: Georgia Poll Worker Ruby Freeman Runs SAME BALLOTS Through Tabulation Machine MULTIPLE TIMES

New video evidence reveals most damning behavior yet in Georgia's Freeman Fraud saga

Video footage shows confirmed vote counter Ruby Freeman, whose daughter was identified as the supervisor of a secret vote counting session after observers were sent home, running the same stack of ballots through a vote tabulation machine multiple times while intermittently looking around to see if anyone was watching.

In the footage, Freeman can be seen holding the same stack of ballots close to her body while running them through the vote tabulation machine multiple times.

She then repeats this process with at least two more ballot stacks, furtively glancing behind herself every so often to see if anyone has taken notice of her behavior.

The ballots scanned by Freeman were taken from the suitcases that were hidden under tables until legal observers were sent home late at night.

The Gateway Pundit was able to identify Freeman from her distinctive hairstyle and wardrobe, which corresponded with corresponded with the business she owns called “La’Ruby.”

Subsequently, National File identified Freeman’s supervisor – who brought in the aforementioned suitcase ballots scanned multiple times by Freeman – as none other than her own daughter.

Freeman bragged on Facebook that “Y’all want to know who my supervisor is over here? It’s my daughter, but I just do what she say do and it’s her show baby, it’s her show.”

On Friday, National File uncovered additional footage of the Freemans surreptitiously passing a USB drive from themselves to an unidentified bearded black male in a gray shirt.

Freeman also filmed herself showing off the stacks of ballots in another video posted to Facebook.

While National File has been unable to confirm the standard number of ballots per stack placed in a vote tabulation machine, a voting machine expert told the Scientific American that high-speed scanners can scan 800 ballots per minute.

On the lower end of the spectrum, an older article from the National Conference of State Legislatures references speeds of “200 to 500 ballots per minute.”

Melissa Carone, an expert witness for the Trump campaign and a former Dominion Voting Services contractor, explained how Dominion votes are fed into the machine during her testimony in Michigan on December 2. Carone said that batches of 50 ballots are fed from the bottom, as we saw Freeman do, and then finish at the top. As viewers witnessed with Freeman, Carone said she witnessed vote counters repeatedly counting the same batch of votes.

Ruby Freeman was left unsupervised while repeatedly scanning the same ballot stacks for at least two minutes per the video footage isolated by National File.
