All F500 Companies including Big Tech discriminate against hiring American workers. This has been going on since 911. When I worked at JP Morgan they were the first to start doing this. Three full time managers bringing back 50 workers at a time, mainly from India.
They were only 10-15% of workforce, by the time I left Citi I was 1 of 3 Americans in my department of 8,250 tech workers, just years later. 2.6k FB jobs that paid $2-300k = 1 billion from US salaries. 500 companies doing this over 20 years along with their little off spring shops is at least 1 Trillion + out of US salaries.

Their clueless recruiters and account managers make Americans chase wind by re-explaining your resume even though they have 0 IT experience, filling out forms and matrices, conferences only with their staff, having you take tests, and they never send up your resume to the client nor test results. This takes Americans off the market because out of courteousy they will not contact the employer even if legit.
If they wan't to discriminate; back of the book questions or they give a complex algorithm that should take days to get right in the last 10-15 minutes of an interview. Most times places give tests and projects to facilitate their job, it's called fishing for code.
