Senate confirms Christopher Waller to serve on Fed’s board

The Senate confirmed Christopher Waller the another of President Trump’s nominees for the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis’ research director was approved by a vote of 48-47. All 47 votes against were by the Democratic senators who preferred “president-elect” Joe Biden to fill the seat.

The only Democrat on the board is Lael Brainard. One seat on the board remains vacant.
