I am an American patriot.

 

I cry when the anthem is played. Every time. My kids do not understand. Teach.

 

We are an exceptional people. An exceptional country. Best.

 

I don’t think I’m better than any other person. Subjective.

 

I believe in the rule of law. The constitution. Pilloried.

 

I believe this country was allowed to be for reasons we may never understand. Used.

 

I believe those that allowed us to be have recognized we are too strong. They hate us. They use us. We are a means. Source.

 

I am not a religious man. Sometimes I wish I could be. I can’t. I distrust the collective. Interpretation.

 

I believe there is something bigger than us. What? I don’t know. I have faith in that. Divine.

 

I believe for us to survive we need to remain the beacon for the rest of the world. Hope.

 

I believe everything has been stolen from us. Decades ago. Institutions.

 

I want truth. Honesty. Transparency. Humanism.

 

I need freedom. Liberty. Justice. Without I cannot survive. Struggle.

 

I love You. All. My country. My family. Humanism.

 

I am prepared. In life. In death. I prepared. Mine are safe. Forethought.

 

I sacrificed. Time. Friends. Money. Family. I did it knowingly. Trade offs.

 

I’m ready. Ready for those like me to stand with me. Believe.

 

I’m proud. I’ve done well. Made a difference. Have accomplished much. Pride.

 

I’ve overcome. Dead beat mother. Attacks on my being. Almost went sideways. Made me stronger. Drive.

 

I’m tired. Deceit. Lying. Stealing. Using. Concerned.

 

This thing we have here. It gave me hope. Hope that folks like me still exist. Good folks. Those that want peace. Help one another. Solve problems together. Honest. Transparent. A collective. Faith.

 

I will remain what I am and I will fight for this country. For my family and for myself. For you.

 

I’ve been betrayed. Unforgivable.

 

Corruption. Irredeemable.
