The FBI Washington Field Office and the US Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Office of Special Investigations are on a manhunt for alleged sexual offender, Brian Jeffrey Raymond.

Brian Jeffrey Raymond, 44, was charged in the District of Columbia on October 8, 2020, alleging that he induced an “adult victim to travel for the purpose of engaging in any sexual activity.”

Raymond allegedly met his victims on dating apps and had videos and photographs of the victims showing them unconscious, partially undressed or fully nude.

Raymond was arrested in La Mesa, California, on October 9, 2020 but has since fled.

Brian Jeffrey Raymond was formerly a US government employee, and he traveled extensively overseas, including in Mexico and Peru. He speaks both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Raymond had been living in Mexico from August 2018 to May 2020.

Hunter Biden Was Due To Receive ‘Significant’ Payments From Chinese Private Equity Firm Starting In 2019, Emails Show

Hunter Biden was repeatedly told by his business partner in emails that he was set to receive payments from the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners starting in 2019 and for years to come.

“BHR is due to have a significant distribution in 2019 because of the CATL exit,” Eric Schwerin wrote in a November 2018 email to Hunter Biden.

Schwerin also told Hunter Biden in December 2018 he can expect BHR to generate income for him “over the next couple of years,” one email shows.

The revelations conflict with a statement released by Hunter Biden’s lawyer in October 2019 which stated he had not received any distributions from BHR.

Hunter Biden was repeatedly told by his business partner that he would begin receiving significant payments from a Chinese private equity firm starting in 2019, emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.

The business partner, Eric Schwerin, also told Hunter Biden in a December 2018 email that the Chinese private equity firm, BHR Partners, would generate income for him “over the next couple of years.”

The revelations conflict with an October 2019 statement issued from Hunter Biden’s lawyer, George Mesires, that said Biden had not received any return on his investment in BHR, nor had there been any distributions to the firm’s shareholders since he obtained his 10% equity stake two years prior through his company, Skaneateles LLC.

The emails, which were located on a copy of Hunter Biden’s alleged laptop, show that he took out a $150,000 capital loan with one of BHR’s Chinese-based partners in July 2017 to help fund his $420,000 investment into the firm that year. When the loan came due in December 2018, Schwerin advised Hunter Biden to extend the loan for another year so he could pay it back with future distributions.

Biden Names As "Climate Czar" Former EPA Chief Blamed For Flint Water Crisis

Joe Biden will name Gina McCarthy as his White House "climate czar", making the former head of the Environmental Protection Agency his top domestic climate coordinator. The news sparked outrage among those who pointed out that agency's failures during the Flint water crisis.

The criticism rained from all both sides of the aisle, as well as from activists. According to the Detroit Free Press, LeeAnne Walters, an environmental activist from Flint who first brought attention to the lead problem, told NBC 25 in Saginaw that the expected appointment was "absolutely appalling" and "a huge injustice to everyone in Flint and everything that we've suffered."

Former Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz, criticized Biden as "oblivious about Flint," given that he is "empowering Gina McCarthy again."

"She was a disaster at EPA, and now he is bringing her back for more," Chaffetz said in a post on Twitter on Tuesday night. "Michigan, your votes mattered, and Biden is bringing Flint water to all of us."

At the time of the Flint water crisis, where lead from aging pipes leached into the city's water system after it changed its water source, Chaffetz was the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, which held hearings on the issue.

Chaffetz wasn't the only one to object. “The people of Michigan won’t soon forget Gina McCarthy’s mishandling of and failure to adequately respond to the Flint water crisis as EPA administrator," U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg, a Tipton Republican and a former member of the committee who took part in the Flint hearings, told the Free Press Wednesday morning. "That ineptness alone is reason enough to disqualify her from a senior role, but her push for higher energy taxes and heavy-handed government regulations is also concerning for consumers.”

Democrats also chimed in: Rep. Dan Kildee, a Democrat from Flint Township who is a supporter of Biden's, issued a statement Wednesday afternoon, noting deep doubts about the choice. While thanking Biden for taking climate change so seriously, Kildee - who was a sharp critic of both the state's and federal government's roles in causing the Flint water crisis - said he'd heard from several Flint residents who "expressed their concerns to me about this appointment and I have relayed their concerns to (Biden's transition team)."

Pence, other Trump officials to get vaccine publicly

Vice President Pence will receive the vaccine for the novel coronavirus publicly on Friday as part of an effort by officials to build public confidence in the vaccine.

Pence, the leader of the White House coronavirus task force, second lady Karen Pence and Surgeon General Jerome Adams will all receive the vaccine for COVID-19 at the White House, Pence’s office announced on Wednesday.

There had been internal discussions within Pence’s office about how and when he should receive the vaccine in order to demonstrate its safety leading up to Wednesday’s announcement.

He said Tuesday during a roundtable discussion on Operation Warp Speed in Indiana that he looked forward to getting the vaccine “in the days ahead.”

“Be confident that we have cut red tape, but we’ve cut no corners when it comes to the development of this vaccine,” Pence said. “I look forward in the days ahead to receiving the vaccine myself and do so without hesitation.”

Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller received the vaccine produced by Pfizer and BioNTech publicly earlier this week, after it was distributed to states following the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to grant it emergency use authorization.

CNN reported Wednesday that President-elect Joe Biden plans to get publicly vaccinated next week, according to people familiar with the plans.

"I don't want to get ahead of the line, but I want to make sure that we demonstrate to the American people that it is safe to take. We're working on that plan right now and when I do it, I'll do it publicly,” Biden told reporters in Wilmington, Del., earlier in the day.

It is unclear when and how President Trump will receive the vaccine. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters Tuesday that Trump would do so when his doctors recommended. Trump was diagnosed with COVID-19 in October and may still have antibodies to protect him from being reinfected. Trump has not committed to taking the vaccine publicly.

Trump earlier this week said he was reversing plans to grant some White House officials early access to the vaccine, though some senior and national security staff are still expected to receive some of the early doses.

Other top political figures have signaled their intention to receive the vaccine in order to build public confidence, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). Former Presidents Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama have all said they would publicly get the coronavirus vaccine as a way to demonstrate its safety.
