The internet was engineered for social control and resource extraction.

If We the People want the benefits of a safe secure network we need to engineer an information distribution system that represents our values and instantiates our rights in its protocols in such a way that they can never be removed alienated, subverted or denied by any human authority.

It's not hard to do this and its irrevocable; once granted the rights can't be taken way.

On the current internet there is no fixed permanent identity. Users generate identities spoof websites, inject 'news' and 'entertainment' ad libitum

In the 3 D material world we have a single, permanent, lifetime identity; this makes commerce and community possible.

We need a single, fixed, permanent identity in virtual space for the same reason. Civilization rests on assured lifetime identity in both the material and virtual domains.

Every individual is responsible for information they introduce onto networks. Do not introduce hate, do not originate or circulate lies. Practise information hygiene.
