I was referring to God's decretive will,
not His preceptive will.
His decretive will is that which He has determined to come about,
for nothing occurs without His having decreed it.
His preceptive will is encompassed in His Commandments.
It is what Man should do or don't, but which he doesn't do or does.
God has decreed Man to be able to sin (decretive),
but He has commanded He not sin (preceptive).
Just because I can (ability) run over a little old lady,
doesn't mean I should do that.
>to be the perfect, undefiled, vessel
Mary was a sinner as anyone else.
She was not conceived immaculately.
That is an unscriptural fantasy.
Christ Jesus was not conceived with an earthly father's seed.
He was conceived ONLY with Mary's own seed,
her egg.
There is therefore no need for Mary having any special category relative to her own nature,
since the sin nature,
by legal curse,
can only pass from father to children,
having passed down from Adam.
Mary, therefore,
was also born in sin,
having inherited that nature from her father,
but being a woman,
could not legally pass any inheritance,
keeping Christ Jesus sanctified.
The doctrine of the "immaculate conception" is not only false,
but it is totally unnecessary,
born out of ignorance and conveniently used by the Dragon to deceive.
I prefer to believe the Word of God:
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom. 3:23
The Mind of God,
What He wills,
is found in His Word,
which is the Doctrine of the Prophets and the Apostles,
the foundation of His Congregation.
The Holy Spirit teaches nothing more than that.
Therefore to know God,
is to know His revealed Word.
That is, as a Christian.
Those are bold conclusions.
But enough about "me", and "you".
God has shown what Man is to know,
in His revealed Word.
That revealed Word is the Doctrine of the Prophets and the Apostles.
That Doctrine revealed the Savior of the world,
the Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ,
who died for the sins of His people,
resurrected from the dead,
and ascended into Heaven.
