The guy your speaking with I believe is a shill. Most protestants do not really have a strong anger towards our lady. On the cross our Lord gave Mary as Mother to John and John as son to our Lady. Since the beginning of the Church our Lady has been revered.
Protestants however took the bible of the church and removed several books so they could come up with our lady being something of an idol. Then they removed history to seal the deal. But today this no longer works. Protestants know history is hugely important and that it did not begin with Luther.
