The fear of the unknown in death is the greatest control mechanism of them all. Your entire life is spent making decisions based upon assumptions of something that cannot be proven. The greatest way to enslave the minds of humans is to convince them they have a soul and will be damned to eternity of they do not follow what their holy figure (intermediary between them and god) tells them to do.

Define "projection". Is that how a good "Christian" is supposed to act? Doubling down and calling people Satan who disagree with them after presenting facts they cannot refute? Yes, this is a very BIG problem with religion and intermediaries (preachers, priests etc).

"If you do not follow my lead you are satan".

"If you disagree with me you are satan".

No… there's no attempt to control how people think with religion…
