How would this be done?
Previous exposure to SARS-CoV2 or administered vaccine (mRNA expresses S-protein peptide) results in production of antibodies towards viral S-protein.
New strain in UK. COVID-21. More deadly? Why?
Engineered through directed evolution to "take advantage" of (ADE)?
How could this be done? Take serum (which includes antibodies) of previously infected individuals and culture cells (macrophages) in serum. Introduce SARS-CoV2 with randomly mutated S-protein into culture to select for those that productively infect macrophages through ADE.
