Interesting we have 3 tankers over Florida, 2 near Tampa/McDill that had previously been doing out and backs over the Ft. Stewart, GA area and a tanker around Eglin.

Short answer, yes. Long answer is if they are certain special a/c they takeoff and land with light fuel loads and top off from a tanker once the a/c is warmed up so they don't leak as much. SR-71s. Not sure if any newer clas a/c have that nasty little issue.
