The unusually high number of tankers in the air tonight seem to supporting an unusually high number of airlifters (mostly C-130Js) up over CONUS. There appears to be a lot of stuff moving around. Also seeing multiple Nightwatch aircraft aloft.

The traffic patterns are kind of strange as well. Some are orbiting, some are cross country.
