House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday ordered the Capitol to fly its flags at half-staff in honor of Brian Sicknick, a Capitol Police officer who died following Wednesday's attack on the building.
“The violent and deadly act of insurrection targeting the Capitol, our temple of American democracy, and its workers was a profound tragedy and stain on our nation’s history," Pelosi said.
