For the Vatican blackout deniers: The John dude who wandered around the Vatican plaza the night AFTER the blackout, claiming "no blackout," admitted in his footage that he was awoken by calls on his cellphone asking about the blackout. This was AFTER the blackout was over, when he woke up.

Apparently, he slept through the BELLS RINGING at the Vatican eight times every fifteen minutes, repeatedly for an hour. Apparently he also slept through the gunfire.

It's nice to sleep soundly, but not nice at all to claim that something didn't happen just because you slept through it.

Then add to the blackout reports that all roads to Vatican City were blocked for a time.

Also, the Pope was a no-show at a scheduled baptism today (Sunday). Chew on that a while. The Pope doesn't baptise just ANYone. So, whomever was awaiting their child's baptism must be pretty special. And imagine how unhappy said special people are when the Pope not only stands them up, but fails to even send an emissary to stand in for him.

>so are the emergency alert messages

I can toggle on or off all the varieties of emergency alerts - EXCEPT the Presidential alert.

>Verizon is simply a service provider. They have no say in telephone functions.

False. Verizon install software on all its phones, to "lock" the phone to its system. There's a whole suite of changes from a phone which was never locked.

>So many have forgotten we are watching a movie.

It may be all scripted, but it's a kinetic "movie," which is affecting prices and availability of food, people's jobs and personal freedom. Churches are closing due to lost offerings (money collected each week). It's much more life-altering than merely viewing a 90-minute fictional presentation.
