I'm a 6th grade Social Studies teacher watching my Ps & Qs in a liberal state, but been here since 8chan days mid 2018.
On Friday when I was asking a group about plans for the weekend, one kid said "getting ready for the blackout".
Reeeeeeeeee. I almost started showing all my Pepe memes on the screen at that point. But managed to regroup, ask what the kid meant, and then said "interesting, I've heard there were blackouts in 5 states in the last week due to a wind storm and have heard of recent power outages in other countries."
Hopefully I've spoken in code enough. I know I've endeavored to be the teacher President Trump would be proud of, even if I continue to feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of brainwashed, propagandizing peers.
