nothing enables evil to prevail more than decades+ spent supporting a philosophy of wilful ignorance
an informed population wouldn't have even allowed things like the fed in the first place
the truth is people (in the aggregate) don't care about about freedom or tyranny much less have the ability to recognise either one, they care about social prestige and comfort
