Conde is the second service member to die this year while deployed in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

Another soldier, Sgt. 1st Class Mihail Golin, was killed in action Jan. 1 in Nangarhar province, to the south of Kapisa. According to reports, Golin, of 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), died when his foot patrol was attacked by enemy small-arms fire.

To date, 48 U.S. troops have died since Operation Freedom's Sentinel began at the formal end of U.S. combat operations in Afghanistan in 2015, 32 of them in hostile encounters. Some 270 troops have been wounded in action.

Rest In Peace, Gabriel & Mihail & the 46 other brave soldiers who have died in Afghanistan since 2015.

May your families find some solace by realizing in their hearts that some of US are forever grateful for their sacrifice and are doing whatever we can to ensure that their lives were not taken in vain.

>Enough! Stop giving them rent free room in your heads and on this damn fucking board!

Could not agree more with this sentiment. Usually am able to tune it out, but it's beginning to get out of hand. Really beginning to wonder how many here are actually (a) autists (who by nature do not follow blindly) or (b) if not autists (which is a-ok if →), then truly dedicated to the mission placed before us.

My heart is aching right now as well. I just wish like heck we could go faster so that a critical mass of people could understand what really is going on here.

Unfortunately, so much of the mess that's been created over the past 50+ years has infected the body politic so much so that we can't even focus our attention on the HEROES that deserve our attention.

You know I get the movie thing (see it more like a Shakespeare play, but to each their own),

but there are times when the real world smacks the fictional Fantasyland right in the face with some cold hard tragedy.

This is one of those times.

Concur with this take. Sean-boy hasn't really evolved much past his character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And he's been spoiled all his life with enough "goodies" to handcuff him nice & tight in his golden cell.

A L.A. royal fuck-up who's damaged plenty of innocent lives in his wake. F' him.

This is one strange email though.

Clinton email lawsuit zeroes in on Kennedy, Koh

By JOSH GERSTEIN 06/17/2016 06:22 PM EDT

A conservative group pressing for more answers about Hillary Clinton's private email set-up is training its fire on two of her former aides: Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy and former State Department Legal Adviser Harold Koh.

In a court filing Friday, Judicial Watch complained that Kennedy and Koh were aware of Clinton's use of a private email account, but appear not to have ensured it was searched for records responsive to a Freedom of Information Act request the watchdog group filed in 2012.

"Defendant … never outright disputes the allegations that senior State Department managers—including two top officials with primary responsibility for records preservation, Legal Advisor Harold Koh and Under Secretary for Management Patrick Kennedy—knew that Secretary Clinton used the non-state.gov 'clintonemail' records system for government business, nor that they knew that litigation seeking documents from those records was pending in this Court," Judicial Watch attorney Chris Federal wrote.

Judicial Watch's claim that Kennedy and Koh should have made sure Clinton's private account was searched is based largely on the fact that emails from Clinton's account show both men in correspondence with her at her private "clintonemail.com" address
