You folks are in an abusive relationship with a letter of the alphabet. Q made nothing but false promises, and in the end, broke your heart. Instead of saying "I can change"… you were told "soon"…over, and over…and yet nothing ever happened. The love you gave this alphabet bandit, was never returned to you in the way that you gave it.
You break up with it, and try to salvage your life. I know it's rough coming to terms with giving up a chunk of your life on something that didn't turn out the way you thought it would. It feels like a waste. But, eventually, you'll move on.
