If you're not getting it all, then you're not using the right combination. Get your coagulant right. It all depends on what you're trying to remove. You need to specify the variables. Are they metals? Are the metals dissolved or suspended? Dirt? Sewage? Paint? Are the solids organic or inorganic? Are you looking for sludge dewatering? In which case you would a cationic flocculant. Or are you simply looking for sludge settling? In which case you would use an anionic flocculant - which can be dry or an emulsion.
