Trudeau: Canadian Travelers with Positive Coronavirus Tests Must ‘Quarantine in Designated Government Facilities

Canadians returning from abroad will be required to provide negative PCR test results for the coronavirus, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday. Those testing negative will still be required to self-quarantine for two weeks.

Anyone with a positive coronavirus test “will be immediately required to quarantine in designated government facilities,” Trudeau declared.

Trudeau said:

As soon as possible in the coming weeks, we will be introducing mandatory PCR testing at the airport for people returning to Canada. Travelers will then have to wait for up to three days at an approved hotel for their test results at their own expense, which is expected to be more than $2,000.

Those with negative test results will then be able to quarantine at home under significantly increased surveillance and enforcement. Those with positive tests will be immediately required to quarantine in designated government facilities to make sure they’re not carrying variants of potential concern. We will also in the coming weeks be requiring nonessential travelers to show a negative test before entry at the land border with the U.S., and we’re working to stand up additional testing requirements for land travel.

Trudeau repeatedly referred to the coronavirus “variants” as a cause of “potential concern” while describing his decrees as “grounded in science and evidence.”

Transport Canada’s website states, “Anyone who receives a negative test result and is authorized to enter Canada must still complete the full, mandatory 14-day quarantine. Canada’s government “will be further increasing surveillance efforts to ensure travellers entering Canada complete the applicable mandatory 14-day quarantine period under the Quarantine Act.”

Travelers deemed “not suitable” by a “government official” are “required to quarantine in a federal quarantine facility,” adds Canada’s Transportation Ministry. It warns that violations of such instructions “could lead to up to six months in prison and/or $750,000 in fines”:

These new officers will conduct visits in 35 cities across the country, starting in Montréal and Toronto.

No exemptions were announced for Canadians who have received a coronavirus vaccine.

Canada’s new travel restrictions include termination of flights to Mexico and the Caribbean until at least April 30.

He also talked about the bond he shares with the other nine Republicans who voted to impeach, how he tries to convince Trump supporters that his vote was an act of conscience, and why he's not the least bit worried about losing his seat in Congress.

Why is pain and suffering in the world if God is good and powerful? God already answered this, but no one pays attention, and when they do they are hindered by translations. Translations are interpretations. So forgive me if I get tedious pointing out the issues. A foundation of understanding must be built.

The language

The first word in the Bible is ‘bereshith’ בראשית . It is translated ‘In the beginning’. But if the word is split: ברא-שית now is means ‘created six’. Elohim means ‘God separated from his people by ignorance. The cross is the culmination of all the teaching of God, where he is made known to be Holy and Love in a perfect union. The Son did for us what we could not even understand needed to be done.

The commandment

The commandment was given to teach something. What does it teach? Like the fish cannot see the stream, we cannot see God. The first lesson is that God is Holy; he is so different that we cannot see him. He placed two trees in the Garden to indicate to Adam that God is separate and different from Adam.

The purpose of the commandment

The commandment teaches us that we are not gods! It taught Adam that God IS the boss of him. No matter how the fish wiggle and squirm in the stream, the stream is still in control. God made a system which always moves the fish where he wants them, even if they resist.

Sometimes our ripples combine and smack some unsuspecting person, and no one can trace it back to a single cause. But it all comes from men thinking the are gods.

Suffering is a schoolmaster to teach us that we are not gods; that we are not in control. The law does the same. Do you think you are a god? Try not lying. God does not lie. Try not stealing. God does not steal.

The rich man chased after Jesus and asked him “Good teacher, what must I do to get into the kingdom”. Jesus said that only God was good, but the man should keep the commandments and he would do well. The man said that he was equal to God since he kept the commandments.

Since God himself took the penalty for you not following the law, it’s purpose is that we would marvel at the character of God who is faithful when we are not.

As the light comes on, God speaks into his creation: Let there be light – I am Holy. God is not waiting to destroy you when you sin. He would have done that long ago. He is patiently waiting for you to learn that he alone is God. Patients and long-suffering are characteristics of Love. You have been in his love all along. Now know that he is Holy.

God repenting and grieving?

These are not just anthropomorphisms. The claim that they are is the biggest nonsense. It says that God is incapable of telling us who he is without using things which are not what he is. He really did feel these things.

Through it all, the invisible God hid a second story underneath the literal history. It is there so that we may know him intimately. Unfortunately many teach a cartoon version of his word as they build up their religions.

Anthony S. Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said there is “no doubt” Donald J. Trump will be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak during his presidency.

Fauci has led the NIAID for more than 3 decades, advising the past five United States presidents on global health threats from the early days of the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s through to the current Zika virus outbreak.

During a forum on pandemic preparedness at Georgetown University, Fauci said the Trump administration will not only be challenged by ongoing global health threats such as influenza and HIV, but also a surprise disease outbreak.

“The history of the last 32 years that I have been the director of the NIAID will tell the next administration that there is no doubt they will be faced with the challenges their predecessors were faced with,” he said.

While observers have speculated since his election about how Trump will respond to such challenges, Fauci and other health experts said Tuesday that preventing disease pandemics often starts overseas and that a proper response means collaboration between not only the U.S. and other countries, but also the public and private health sectors.

“We will definitely get surprised in the next few years,” he said.

‘Risks have never been higher’

Trump, the real estate developer-turned-Republican politician, has worried some infectious disease experts with controversial and sometimes unclear views on certain health issues.

Ronald Klain, who coordinated the U.S.’s Ebola response for the Obama administration, said Trump’s virtual silence about the Zika outbreak and harsh comments about American volunteers infected during the West African Ebola outbreak is “not the kind of leadership we need in our next president.”

“It’s hard to think of a more important time to show a willingness to speak out in the public health community and the global health community than it is right now on the eve of Donald Trump becoming our next president,” Klain said. “The risks have never been higher, and the question of his perspective on these issues has never been more dubious than it is with Donald Trump.”

Fauci and others noted some of the disease outbreaks that recent administrations have faced, including current President Barack Obama, whose administration was tested early on with an H1N1 influenza pandemic in 2009. More recently, the administration was forced to repurpose almost $600 million in federal funds set aside for the Ebola outbreak when Republicans rejected Obama’s request for $1.9 billion to fund the nation’s Zika response.

Current Deputy Homeland Security Advisor Amy Pope, JD, said it was “typical” of the U.S. government that money meant for the Ebola epidemic was appropriated for Zika because of the proclivity of populations to worry about what is currently threatening them.

“We shouldn’t ask the American public to make those choices in the future,” she said. “It doesn’t keep them safe.”

Klain said pandemic preparedness should be approached from a nonpartisan angle. A Democrat, he referenced Republican President George W. Bush founding the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and said Republican Senators Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham collaborated with the Obama administration on the Ebola response.

“The mosquitoes don’t know if they’re biting Democrats or Republicans,” Klain said. “They don’t know what party you are.”

According to some of the experts who spoke on Tuesday, preparing the U.S. for pandemics requires proper funding and starts by battling disease outbreaks overseas. This is not just the right thing to do, but the best way to keep Americans safe, Klain said.

Pope said there is no playbook for fighting emerging infectious diseases: “We never know what’s going to hit us, so we need to be prepared as possible,” she said.

According to Pope, some in the health community are wary about working with the security community because they think it will be detrimental to their work, when the opposite is true: “Marrying these communities actually leads to more resources and more attention,” she said.

Bill Steiger, PhD, chief program officer of Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon and former director of the HHS Office of Global Health Affairs, said his first piece of advice for the incoming administration would be to budget time for HHS to focus on things other than domestic health issues, because a larger problem is inevitable: “Some international global health crisis will happen that will divert that attention. It has happened over and over again,” he said.

Steiger said the global health agenda, including programs like PEPFAR, is an “easy win” for the new administration: “Expand the funding if available, but at a minimum keep it going,” he said.

Fauci said he is in favor of a public health emergency fund that would be used to combat outbreaks like those involving Ebola and Zika: “It’s tough to get it … but we need it. What we had to go through with Zika was very, very painful when the president asked for $1.9 billion in February and we didn’t get [funding]until September.”

Near the end, Fauci speculated about the possibility that there will be a resurgence of Zika this summer. The virus has caused many travel-related cases in the U.S. and some locally acquired cases in Florida and Texas. Fauci said other concerns for the Trump administration include the potential for a new influenza pandemic and outbreaks of diseases that are not yet on anyone’s radar.

“What about the things we are not even thinking about?” he said. “No matter what, history has told us definitively that [outbreaks] will happen because [facing] infectious diseases is a perpetual challenge. "Of course, if he doesn't come through, I won't like him quite as much," Trump added.

Throughout the four years of Trump's term as president, Pence has been fiercely loyal to him.

Pence, however, defied Trump's wishes and said in a statement that he would follow the Constitution and would not overturn the results of the election.

The decision led to tension between Pence and Trump, which could affect the outcome of a potential 2024 run. With the move, Pence might have lost out on support from within Trump's base, Business Insider's John Haltiwanger previously reported.

JP Morgan inherited Bear Stearns huge “short” position in silver (and gold) when the Fed arranged for them to takeover (the bankrupt) Bear Stearns. They have been trying to extricate themselves from that position since 2008. They are trapped. Even now, when they desperately try and reduce their shorts but pulling their bids and allowing the market to fall, with the hope of buying all of the sales at a lower price (to help cover their shorts), the “Raptors,” (large hedge funds) step in and buy many of the contracts, making it impossible for JPM to cover.

People I talk to also feel that the reason gold is punished is to influence the price of silver, to the downside of course, in aid of JP Morgan’s quest to shed their huge short silver position.

If investors are wondering what caused the destruction of billions of dollars in gold and silver values, metal and share price alike, look no further than JP Morgan, and the government officials who enabled them.

There can be no question that the CFTC is complicit in all these illegal activities. Same with the CME Group, owner of the NYMEX/COMEX. It is not possible that they are not privy and an active party to this successful downward manipulation. To think that officials at the CFTC, from the top of the agency, to staffers and even the Inspector General, have taken oaths of office to uphold commodity law and then have allowed that law to be repeatedly violated is beyond repugnant. That they have knowingly participated in an organized cover-up of this manipulation and have taken to lying to a Congressman calls for criminal prosecution.

Instead of allowing this to happen, the Federal Reserve orchestrated a bailout of Bear Stearns and JP Morgan acquired their assets with the backing of the Fed. Shortly after taking over Bear Stearn’s silver short position, JP Morgan was able to manipulate the price of silver down to below $9 per ounce. (They made billions!)
