> Why did God put Adam and Eve in a garden with a poisonous snake that would lead to so much destruction, death and pain for thousands of years?
You have good questions. There are real answers. But one who has already decided the issue for himself won’t hear them. Those who simply will not hear will respond with a “You wrote a lot” meme. Please use the cute dancer.
>Why did God put Adam and Eve in a garden with a poisonous snake that would lead to so much destruction, death and pain for thousands of years?
Why is pain and suffering in the world if God is good and powerful? God already answered this, but no one pays attention, and when they do they are hindered by translations. Translations are interpretations. So forgive me if I get tedious pointing out the issues. A foundation of understanding must be built.
The language
The first word in the Bible is ‘bereshith’ בראשית . It is translated ‘In the beginning’. But if the word is split: ברא-שית now is means ‘created six’. If the middle is pulled out it says ברית with אש at the center, or a covenant with man at the center. If the front is split off בר-אשי-ת it says ‘the son burned ( a metaphor for total devotion) and the תmakes it an object. If it is read letter by letter it says: ב a revelation to man ר it is revealed א that God spoke and created the heavens and the earth ש his word did not return void, but with an increase י his creation ת was complete when the revelation created a new life spontaneously.
This is the nature of the Hebrew language; words get their meaning from the meaning of the letters and subparts within. By ignoring it, one does not get the full meaning of what is being said. This is why I must show you some of the parts that have been hidden from you.
