I'm in a reverse scenario. A relative is keeping grams on lockdown and has her so scared that visits are "off limits" until further notice. It's quite amazing how much division over ideology there is now than ever before. It's like what the DS was doing with sexism, racism, religion, and everything else to divide us all was usurped by an ideology rift that happened between those that see what's going on and those that fully feel we're still in the middle of the plan.
Problem? It was publicly promoted by CiC while it was being made. The CEO of Pfizer gets to setup a sell on his own stock to coincide with the announcement date that the President himself made to the world. Their stock goes sky high, and the sell happens, netting the CEO a cool fortune (reread that 3x very slowly).
People like myself prayed for a meritocracy to happen within our lifetime. Well, we got it. Now we have to watch how long it takes for everyone else to realize it. What it's done to the Overton window certainly has been very entertaining, though. In the meantime, and to the second point in this post, divergent realities not only exist, they seem to be getting further apart with each day.
It's a weird point in human history. You can choose to wake up one morning and buy into Biden's new 'murica part 2: The socialist revolution, or the "Trump's still in control and is running the country out of Mar-a-Lago with the military" version of the alternate facts that are in front of us all.
I suppose we can take consolation in that we have had some entertaining happenings as of late. For example, Hunter dick pics and Claudia Conway's underaged breasts on Kellyanne's social media feed.
