VA informs patients mask wear is mandatory on Federal Property in Springfield MO.

A 48 yo disabled vet was denied access to the Gene Taylor VA Health Facility today due to being unable to wear a mask.

The veteran informed the doorman of his disability, and inability to comply, but instead of finding a solution, the doorman called security. The veteran was seized by Sgt Aaron Christian (Badge#2392) and Lt D. Jones (refused to provide Badge#) of the Veterans Administration Police , whose motto is: "To Protect those who served" and dragged outside and ordered to leave the property or be arrested for Trespassing on Federal Property.

Local police were called and the unarmed disabled veteran left without seeing a doctor.

A phone call to the Patient Advocate at the Fayetteville AR VA revealed that the veteran was in the wrong This reporter was told, "President Biden issued a Federal Mandate requiring mask to he worn on all Federal Property. The VA doesn't recognize any need provide any accommodations under the American with Disabilities Act, as Federal Mandate from President Biden supercede all other legislation."
