it depends on the 80% you start with
and it depends on the Jig that you get to do the finishing
I have seen "80%" receivers with the mag well AND the trigger pocket already milled out
all you need to do to finish it is drill three holes from the side (using a high quality steel jig with accurate drill bushings)
AND then the slot for the trigger itself to poke out the bottom of the trigger pocket
again, drilled through the jig
one hole at each end of the slot with the correct size drill but
then you connect the holes into a "slot" using a carbide bur in a rotary tool
finishing up with a file
same thing when you go to "fit" all the parts into your receiver
and persuading that needs to be done for things to fit appropriately can usually be accomplished with the rotary tool (dremel) and some judicious use of files

airsoft and "conventional" firearms
it is surprising how similar their manufacture can be when one attempts to achieve the narrow end of the accuracy spectrum in either case
accurate machining, and accurate assembly are required for an accurate rifle
regardless of the projectile that comes out of the bore
