6th night without power. Oregon.
Power company says they don’t know when power will return. 1st they said Sunday then Tuesday. Now no date.
Fortunately have woodstove but you have to feed it every 2 hours so not much sleep. Don’t know how folks make it without woodstove.
Have small Goal Zero generator to charge lanterns & cell phone. We have community well with gas generator so water still pumping. But if your well is electric pump you are out of luck.
Was locked off driveway due to tree downage but buzz saw guys rescued that sitch yesterday. Love those country guys.
Need more matches, but have enuf wood to finish the Winter. But have magnesium stick, never used it yet.
Realize need to do a power down drill. Some of the batteries were too old. Otherwise was ready.
Wonder if this Polar freeze is weather wars?
