“I miss your Voice, and the touch of your hand (shake)” My Buddy

Most gracious and humble guy you could ever meet. (Probably dox myself but WTF cares at this point. Long alienated & blackballed anyway since moving back from Down South.)

Lived/worked in his neighborhood /home golf club. He was on that course like clockwork just after his show ended each day - always walked with his main golfing buddy (WB, very nice man, also. Upbeat.) They never took a cart, AFAIK.

HE acted like the "nobody" surrounded by famous people – He was the only member in the public spotlight (Haig was long-retired). First impression was "SO modest!".

Then would watch as he'd extend his arm and go "Please, after YOU." when HE was there first and someone subsequently walked up near him in line.

Observing his always-humble and gracious demeanor was something to behold. Talked to him like the oldest buddy because that's how comfortable he'd make people feel. HE'd honk with a "hello" when he'd see you walking around town.

He wasn't "the famous guy"

– just one of the most easily-approachable cool guys - ever.

Funny, this is EXACTLY what I'd consistently heard from pals who'd worked events at Mar a Lago regarding one Donald J. Trump. No lie. This was circa 20 years ago.

God Bless you, El Rushbo.
